Why are more game studios looking at #Godot? Our very own @Structed joined a fireside chat with @ExitGames to discuss why the engine is attracting more attention. It's a conversation close to our hearts at GodotFest. After all, Godot means business! youtube.com/watch?v=eIHAaOH0…

It's been a great pleasure and a super interesting conversation!
Why are more studios looking at #Godot? We talked to Johannes Ebner (@Structed) of @GodotFest about pro workflows, consoles, web and what multiplayer needs. GodotFest is Nov 3-4 in Munich, and we’re sponsoring @MeetToMatch. ▶️youtu.be/eIHAaOH0KXw #GodotEngine #GodotFest

What happens when you rush preproduction to ship your game on time? At #GodotFest 2026, Giovanni Beltran shares what went wrong (and right!) during 3 years of developing Vultures, a turn-based Resident Evil-inspired game built in #Godot. godotfest.com/talks/the-pric…

Die wissen das, und die wollen dass er kündigt. Wenn sie ihn behalten wollen würden, würden sie einen Weg finden, in zu behalten.

Git works well for code. Games are a lot more than code. Artists hit merge conflicts. Scenes break. Lilith will show a different approach with Backstitch, a #Godot plugin for real-time collaboration and version control directly inside the editor. godotfest.com/talks/beyond-g… #godotfest

Amazing to have Anthony with us! I met Anthony at Gamescom and he's so passionate about making games and helping you make the best of your game community with @discord! I am so much looking forward to hearing his talk.
What if your Discord server became one of your best game development tools? At #GodotFest 2026, @discord's @AntonTesh will break down how to build a community that grows with your game, from the first prototype to launch and beyond. godotfest.com/talks/building… #gamedev #conference

Optimization is particularly important in this day and age, where memory is virtually unaffordable. So we need to work with what we have!

Welcome @MrModez - the creator of GDStudio - as a Speaker at @GodotFest!
What happens when you spend months inside the Godot Editor's source code? At #GodotFest 2026, Zagir will crack open the editor and look at what Nodes, Controls, resources and the scene tree actually cost. godotfest.com/talks/cracking… #godotengine

That may be a first, but I have trouble understanding Nano. I think vim is more intuitive 😂

Yes please. Let's have a discussion instead of judging people right away. People are using AI, but are now afraid to say it. At Gamescom, I had so many discussions. Every professional game developer uses AI. It's just worth discussing how, instead of demonizing.
This is AI-generated, BTW, like most coding projects nowadays, and it was also posted on Godot's subreddit. If you disclose it, you get banned, if you do it in secret, that's okay. That's the meta in 2026. I'm just telling it like it is, so don't get mad at me. And of course nothing against this user, let's end the witch hunt already...

The with hunt is real, and it's frightening. If you're not going with the mainstream opinion, there is no discussion. You're just being out in the pile to burn.

I am with you on this. As you say in your other response, it's often mandatory in companies to use AI, and to be honest, for so many things, you want to use it anyway. You're so much more productive, but most import, as the article you pointed at, you can now do things
