Yesterday, Disability Aid Foundation (DAF) joined fellow Organizations of Persons with Disabilities from across the East African Community at the East African Civil Society Forum (EACSOF) in Nairobi, participating in the session βDose of Inclusion: Ensuring Equitable Access and Availability of SRH and Essential Health Commodities for Women, Girls, and Persons with Disabilitiesβ.
This important workshop, hosted by GIZ in partnership with the East African Community and with support from the German Government and the European Union, shed light on barriers, impacts, and solutions toward achieving inclusive healthcare.
Together, we emphasized the urgency of building accessible, dignified, and rights-based health systems that prioritize the needs of women and girls with disabilities.
