Fun little update. Still climbing the charts.
Get in touch with @badiaserra to bring Laguna S to your apps And some fun tidbits from the past 2 weeks since S 2.1 launch (from a internal dashboard Andrea and our amazing design team built to track it all) Creeping up on 100k downloads/day on HF Top 10 open model (gaining 7 spots this week), and top 11 all models (gaining 23). As far as western open models, it's Nvidia and Poolside and that's it

We just crossed 10T tokens served across all our models in less than 3 months! Laguna S 2.1 is pushing new highs at ~300B tokens a day, and has processed +2T in the 14 days since release. That’s across @OpenRouter @vercel and our direct API. Really good to see demand for open models keep accelerating.

Really cool paper making use of the (re)configurability of AI Engine arrays to build diverse, heterogeneous accelerator architectures!
In this paper is proposed CHARM, a framework to compose multiple diverse matrix multiply accelerator architectures working concurrently towards different layers using AMD Versal ACAP FPGA. arxiv.org/pdf/2301.02359.pdf

Such an honor and so much fun @CES launching new @AMDRyzen @amdradeon @AMDInstinct @XilinxInc products and showcasing how high-performance and adaptive computing impacts our lives! Loved having @Astro_Cady join me to talk about space exploration and #STEM… so inspiring #CES2023

Incredibly cool to see @LisaSu on stage at @CES holding real silicon with 12 TOPS worth of our XDNA AI Engines on board, and announcing the V70 card with 400 TOPS worth of the little guys! Proud moment ❤️🤖

I’m sorry, I simply cannot be cynical about a technology that can accomplish this.

you guys see major layoffs at a culturally central but long-time underperforming tech company. i see a software engineer stimulus package for a wave of “AI startups” wrapping gpt-3 in a barely functional front-end with some prompt modifiers. it’s about perspective

Human intelligence is a poor metaphor for what "AI" is doing. AI displays essentially none of the properties of human cognition, and in reverse, most of the useful properties of modern AI are not found in humans.

📜🚨📜🚨 NN loss landscapes are full of permutation symmetries, ie. swap any 2 units in a hidden layer. What does this mean for SGD? Is this practically useful? For the past 5 yrs these Qs have fascinated me. Today, I am ready to announce "Git Re-Basin"! arxiv.org/abs/2209.04836

I haven't seen a single commentary on Irish rental market madness recently mention that investment properties bought between late 2011 and 2014 are mostly CGT exempt if sold NOW, but this exemption tapers off from Jan 1st 2022 onwards!

Incentives drive economics. Lots of talk of landlords leaving the market. Housing index is 2x what it was in 2014 - so landlords can double their money Tax Free (!!!) if they sell now, it would be weird if they weren't selling. @ronanlyons @davidmcw @higginsdavidw @AnMailleach

“Supply is good and social housing/public housing/rental assistance are also good” is an inconvenient take. Many ppl will expect you to choose a side. But you don’t have to... because you can have it all. And if people don’t like that, well, just tell them to go F themselves.

This book operates on a different plane. If this preface doesn't get you excited to read it, not sure what will. Thanks for recommendation @shreyas

Ironically, blockchains are perfectly capable of hosting the actual media binary. But of course that would make too much sense, so we don't do that. Anyone have an NFT I can borrow to short-sell?
Out of curiosity I dug into how NFT's actually reference the media you're "buying" and my eyebrows are now orbiting the moon
