I am deeply concerned by the escalating situation in Albania. Local authorities must refrain from aggression against peaceful protesters, and everyone on the ground must work to deescalate and prevent further violence. Michigan is home to a strong and vibrant Albanian American community, and I know these developments are very personal for many Michiganders. The Albanian people deserve a government that respects their fundamental rights and upholds the rule of law. That’s why I will continue to advocate for peace and justice for all Albanians.

Member of the European Parliament, Anna Strolenberg: Shqipëria e shqiptarëve. Albania of Albanians, and not Albania of Edi Rama and the rich. I am ashamed that the EU did not condemn the excessive violence of the police towards the protesters

The protests in Albania are a culmination of the people’s distrust of corrupt politicians and fatigue over the total disregard for the rule of law. Albania’s leaders need to heed the calls for substantive changes that will yield economic opportunity and foster regional stability.

I am watching with great concern the escalating crisis in NATO Ally Albania. The Albanian people deserve freedom, rule of law, and institutional accountability. The government must refrain from all violence against protestors. Young people deserve a voice in the future of their country.

SwiftUI is not good. It's been 8 years. We all need to admit that it was ok when we were coding, and it's just plain bad now that agents are doing the work. UIKit/AppKit are simply better across the board in the agentic era.
People keep telling me that native apps are much faster than React Native, but I don’t think it’s true. So I built the same app in 9 different desktop frameworks. I found that AppKit is slightly faster/lighter than React Native, but React Native beats SwiftUI by a good margin.

This police officer tried to beat up one of the protesters during the protests in Tirana and in the end he learned it that it wasn’t a good idea 🥊

There have been several devastating crashes in the Park in the last month including a woman knocked into a coma from an e-bike. It points to the lawlessness.

I hope companies going back to “native” really start with UIKit. Because I don’t think SwiftUI is any better than React Native / Expo. In fact, in a lot of cases like big lists, it’s worse. LegendList for example, is backed by UIScrollView and it’s very fast.

Constantine the Great was a Roman of Illyrian paternal origin (father from Dardania/Moesia), born in Naissus. Modern Albanian claims of Illyrian continuity lead to these remaining flags.

Emotion aside , some years ago Alvarez wanted to leave Manchester city because he was a substitute striker under pep (he can’t bench haaland )Atlético Madrid paid him a large of money with a transfer fee of €90M and built the team around him , and two years later he’s throwing a tantrum because they don’t want to sell him to Barcelona Atletico Madrid direct rival while he still have four years left on his contract.i can’t lie as a football fan this is an embarrassing behavior by Alvarez

In fact air quality is worse and quality of life further diminished for those just outside the zone - pedestrians must navigate perpetual gridlock and endure honking horns from cars avoiding the toll. AND THE CHERRY ON TOP? INCREASED WAIT TIMES FOR BUSES @MTA

The @GovKathyHochul @NYCMayor @NYCCouncil need to crack down on e-bikes, @CitiBikeNYC, and electric bikes. There are only a 100 +horse carriages in Central Park, yet there are thousands upon thousands of e-bikes on our streets every day, with far too many being ridden recklessly.
