No, the purpose is to allow each student to reach his or her potential. But policies that accomplish that re one type of student might not do so for another type. That's why these are difficult questions, not easy ones.

This is one of the hardest but also one of the most important warnings from the history of Auschwitz coming for us today.
Perpetrators were in fact people who accepted and followed an ideology that made them believe that they were better than others, an ideology that rationalized and promoted hatred & evil. This became part of their everyday lives and their environment.
They were not monsters. They were people: fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, sons and daughters. They had their family joys and problems, their favorite desserts or songs, hobbies or fears. They were people like us. But they also perpetrated horrible things, monstrous things on behalf of the ideology they believed in.
The perpetrators thought of themselves as moral people. And this is the scary part of this history. This is our human warning.

When a person is deemed untouchable - and then someone reaches out to them with compassion... It’s too much to take... What a good woman.

President Trump is about to speak at the NRA's annual convention. Instead of watching him pander to the gun lobby, take a minute to remember just a few of the young Americans we've lost to gun violence since Parkland.

Put less cryptically, Peterson seems able to reach people who’d otherwise be taken in my the most toxic corners of the Internet and channel their frustrations into a constructive program of self-improvement.
That is his big effect on the world, not all the culture war stuff.

If this is accurate it betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of both @jordanbpeterson and his book—if a genie gave us a chance to go back in time in an attempt to prevent the NZ shooting, but only by giving the shooter one book to read, that might be the best choice. 1/2
