Paprium's saga: Crowdfunded in 2017 by Watermelon Games, raised $1M+, but massive delays and unfulfilled orders led to scam accusations. Limited 2020 release boasted "unhackable" protections via custom hardware like FPGA and MCU. Partial dumps emerged in 2021, dismissed as fake.
Fast-forward to July 2025: Fully cracked and leaked. Now playable on emulators like RetroArch with community patches—sound fixed, glitches mostly gone. Not on original hardware yet.
Fonzie (Gwénaël Godde) has been MIA since 2020 controversies, whereabouts unknown. The "undumpable" dream lasted 5 years—poetic justice for backers?
