This will be without doubt one of the most difficult Christmases many families here in Chester & North Wales will have faced for many years financially, so if you, or someone you know is struggling to make sure there is a present under the tree this year for a child, please call in at our Foodbank at Dandys Landscape Supplies, Sealand Road, CH1 6BS. between now, and when we close at 12 noon on Friday. We have a supply of presents ready to help you 🙌🏻💚 thanks to our friends @Farralls_Tspt @Moneypenny & @shareshopsuk - dandys.com

The UK's agri-food sector is THIS big & important 😮So we'll continue to push the brands and manufacturers of UK food products to keep sustainability on their agenda 💪 And support those that tangibly reduce their impact on people and the planet 👏Source: gov.uk/government/statistics…

If you’re still against safe bike-lanes, understand this — the safer & more comfortable urban biking is, the more people choose to ride instead of drive. The more people ride, the better people are able to move IN EVERY WAY, with less space, public cost, crashes, emissions, etc.

Another heatwave over Europe and elsewhere. Records broken year on year. We’re like a cancer patient who knows there’s a tumour, but prefers to ignore it and hopes it goes away, even though it gets larger everyday. #DontLookUp

🚫 Will boycotting #PalmOil solve the social & environmental issues caused by its unsustainable production? No—it will shift the problems to other edible oil industries & may even worsen issues such as deforestation & wildlife protection. 🧵 Read this thread to find out why 👇
