The worst part is some outlets won’t even allow card payments unless the bill is above MVR 10.
So someone cannot simply buy a MVR 5 bottle of water, probably one of the most basic and essential things you may need at a hospital, unless they add something else.
It sounds small, but this is exactly how dysfunction shows itself.
A hospital environment shld make basic needs easier, not create petty obstacles around them.
This place often feels like a hugely disorganized cluster of systems that simply do not talk to each other.

I received a message from @MaldivianAero EXCOM member who said they were shocked when @promuizzu announced that IASL would soon begin operating flights to Karachi. He stated that the proposal had not been discussed with them.
He explained that IASL currently has only one A330 and one A320 aircraft which are insufficient to support an additional route. To fulfil Muizzu’s pledge, the airline acquired a wide-body A330, its operation is very costly. It’s only fair the speaker of Majilis is paid a salary that is on par with the heads of other branches of government. Especially since the deputy speaker earns more in the current pay framework.

A student bringing a substance into a classroom is a wake-up call we can’t afford to ignore.
It exposes a alarming gap in our system: schools still lack standard prevention policies, and key bodies like the NDCC, NDA Board, and Ministry of Education, Min of Homeland are falling short on their mandates under the Drugs Act (17/2011).
