Political differences should never become a campaign against investors. For the good of our citizens and the opportunities investment can create, opposition movements should stop targeting those who are willing to invest in the Maldives.

On #WorldHumanitarianDay, we stand in solidarity with humanitarian personnel around the world who risk their lives in the service of humanity.
At a time of growing humanitarian need, nowhere is the failure to protect civilians and aid workers more evident than in Gaza. The Maldives condemns the obstruction of humanitarian aid and violence against relief personnel and reiterates its call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
We honour those who serve as humanitarians, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live. Their courage demands our collective commitment to uphold international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of all humanitarian personnel.

This International #DayOfTheGirl, we join the international community in reaffirming our commitment to advancing and protecting the rights of girls around the globe.
Our administration is committed to advancing policies and creating opportunities that empower girls and young women to realise their full potential, equip them to become future leaders, and enable them to contribute meaningfully to national development in a safe and supportive environment.
Such aspirations require a whole-of-society approach, beginning with families and communities and extending to all relevant stakeholders. Investing in our daughters today is an investment in a more equitable, inclusive, and prosperous future for all.
