Absolutely. @BCBSM has been pushing this bogus opioid crisis narrative in Michigan for quite some time now. They have effectively ruined access to pain management in the state, especially for low income and inner city patients.

Sometimes, with schedule 2 meds, if it's not filled within 72 hours, it's considered void and your Doctor needs to write or fax a new one..

Yeah, it‘s the same plan. A doctor in TX told me that, if he Rx’d 1 person over the guideline dose, he’d lose 10% on every BCBS patient, not just me. I have not heard that from doctors in FL, but I also doubt my old PM would have told me that. He was already nakedly money hungry.

BE AWARE: If you buy BCBS HC Ins, and have a surgery that perhaps leaves you damaged/healing in pain, they won’t allow your pain to be treated under their policy! Removing MDs who provide APPROPRIATE pain control is unheard of and should be ILLEGAL! BE AWARE!
