can someone with GenAi, eventually be able to import the golden age of the simpsons, and have it create new episodes of it, and have it be just as good?

Most view Gretzky's 200 pt yrs as the tip of the iceberg. If you watched him play, you could argue, his all around game was at its best from '86-'87, the Canada Cup & '87-'88. IMO, we're seeing something similar from McDavid. Reaching another level later in his career #Oilers

Among NHL D with 100+ minutes at 5v5, Bouchard is: 1st in GF/60 (7.44) 6th in GA/60 (0.78) 36th in xGF/60 (3.24) T2nd in xGA/60 (1.65) The offence has been crazy, but the underlying numbers suggest the Oilers should have a 2:1 edge in his minutes - mostly thru great defence.
The Oilers are now up 19 to 2 in Evan Bouchard’s minutes at even strength lol

Surround yourself with people who see a flying car and say, "Awesome!" Not people who see a flying car and say, "It's not actually flying" or "I don't see the point." This post is not about cars :)

Let’s have BOTH! They don’t have to be mutually exclusive!
I don't want flying cars. I want rivers and ocean I can swim in with friends. I want food that isn't full of toxic chemicals and clean soil to grow it in. I want raw nature and wilderness and places on the earth I can get lost without seeing another human. I want air that isn't "geoengineered" and polluted. Science is cool. Technological advancement is cool, but I don't think this makes us happier as humans. Real human connection and clean, natural food lead to happiness. This I know. Flying cars? I'm not sure. Maybe I am a troglodyte...

Oh I'm sorry, was the first flying car not fucking cool enough for you?
I'm so confused what is the purpose of the Tesla Roadster having jets on it and doing flips? Is the consumer level one going to have that feature? Usually Elon presents something mind blowing and it makes sense. Like the We Robot event 2 years ago. I just don't understand this

"Why did they waste so much time making a flying car no one can use in the real world?" Because not everything is about whether you can imagine it being useful to you. Because like art, sometimes we make things for the glory and challenge of making them. Because we don't know if what we'll learn will make your toaster work better and you'll never realize it because you take for granted that things get better without thinking through how that happens. Because you can't inspire people with toasters, but a barrel-rolling car that can drive upside down is absolutely setting someone on fire right now. I'm not a car person and you shouldn't trust me with a rocket, but I want a roadster because I make art and that thing is absolutely a thing made for love and passion and I get that in my heart. (Also because I'd look really cool in one.)🤣

Replying to @MKBHD
I’m not. Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.

43 years ago today, the #Flames played the first NHL game at the Saddledome. Jari Kurri scored the first goal in Saddledome history, while Lanny McDonald scored the Flames first goal. Grant Fuhr made 38 saves to lead the Oilers to a 4-3 win.

Things never said about CR7. This is how you know Leo is the goat
🚨🎙️ René Weiler, D.C. United head coach, on losing to Inter Miami: “Honestly, I don’t think I will ever understand this man. We came into this game with a plan specifically designed to limit Messi. We put enough players around him, closed the spaces he likes to exploit, and made sure he couldn’t receive the ball comfortably. At some point, I genuinely thought we had figured him out. The first half was a success. We knew we were dealing with a special player, so we prepared for every possible situation. We wanted to make his evening as difficult as possible, and for a while, our plan was working. But the second half? I honestly have no explanation for what I witnessed. Messi became unstoppable. He scored twice, and the woodwork denied him the chance to complete a hat-trick. I was standing there wondering what more we could possibly do. And this is the part I still cannot understand. “Is this not the same man who recently said goodbye to international football because his legs could no longer give him everything he wanted?” I heard those words, and now I have watched him dominate a game like this. It makes you wonder whether age even means anything to him. My players spent the entire second half chasing him. We tried to close him down, double up on him, and take away his space, but he kept finding a way out. Every time we thought we had him under control, he escaped. Every time we sent another player to help, he found a pass nobody else could see. As a coach, you spend hours studying opponents, preparing your players, and searching for solutions. But sometimes, you face a player who makes all that preparation look meaningless. Messi can make you question everything you thought you knew about football. I respect Inter Miami, and they deserved their victory. But tonight, I have to be honest with you. We didn’t just lose to Inter Miami. We lost to the greatest of all time.”
