Taught IM residents about #HIV care today. Afterwards, a resident thanked me for teaching abt #UequalsU & said that many residents have learned abt the topic from me. 1-Took a min to feel happiness/joy abt this. 2-Reminder to thank people more often so they can feel like this too

Reflections from another ICU week: - Seeing multiple family members admitted or have died from COVID. They’re unvaxed - Admitting family members of staff (again). Also unvaxed - Staffing is stretched beyond thin. Same story across the country - Y’all, Omicron/Delta is crushing us

The greatest domestic terrorist threat of our time are White male supremacists who adore Donald J. Trump. But Americans are too blinded by their own racist ideas to see these terrorists for who and what they are. Will today be the day the denial finally ends?
