Tanzania has been crowned Africa’s Leading Destination at the 2025 World Travel Awards, cementing its status as a top global travel hotspot.
Renowned for its diverse offerings, from iconic wildlife safaris and pristine beaches to vibrant urban experiences, Tanzania outshone other African contenders to clinch the coveted title.
The country triumphed over a strong list of nominees that included Botswana, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia.
Key attractions such as Zanzibar, Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater continue to draw international acclaim.

Mwanza is set to overcome Dar economically.
Huge potential here in Agri, mining, tourism, logistics, tech, manufacturing, construction, financial services, real estate, and so on.
With the opening of Magufuli Bridge, lake zone is set to open up more and Mwanza will definitely cement its position as the zonal hub.
Current population: 3.7m
Current GDP: TZS 10 trillion+
Nyazaga gold mining project is expected to invest $523m the next 18 months.
Time is now to buy land, set up a business, seek local partner, open branch office, etc.
Currently working on setting up Mwanza Business Connect, a networking circle to support local businesses here.
