Read @AIAAustin's official letter to the city voicing their support as architects for legalizing single-stairs.
"This is an important step in providing Austin with the type of housing that will facilitate safe, family oriented, walkable neighborhoods"

ALT A five-story single-stair building in Philadelphia, with a cast iron and red brick façade in eclectic Second Empire style. Most of the cast iron elements are painted green to mimic a natural copper patina. A hipped Mansard roof doubles as the fifth floor. Potted plants flank the building's front door, with a table and chair set on the red brick sidewalk to form a small outdoor dining area.

Huge milestone here for the light rail piece of Project Connect. A ton of work goes into these applications, and with the new housing rules Austin has we are really confident that a good outcome will get us with shovels in the ground for light rail ASAP!

@CapMetroATX & #ProjectConnect reached a milestone this week as it builds out two new Rapid bus lines. The routes got their first bus shelters near LBJ High School. And BONUS! You can catch your bus there today, since they’re serving current CapMetro bus routes in East Austin.

A powerful thread from @ReconnectAustin. TxDOT's lack of concern for the community's health is unacceptable.
We must do everything we can to stop people for living next to a filthy smog factory for the next 70+ years.
Thank you Reconnect for all your amazing work on this.
You have probably seen a lot about the FEIS for I-35 recently. @rethink35 held an incredible press conference outlining many of its major issues. 👏
Let’s talk about how the FEIS addresses public comments. 🧵

If walking costs you $1, we all pay $0.01. If biking costs you $1, we all pay $0.08. If bussing costs you $1, we all pay $1.50. If driving costs you $1, we all pay $9.20. Via @thediscourse study.
This isn’t just about choice. It’s about who pays for your choice.
