Polyfund @polyfund - a brief overview and my view on the project’s future development. 💰💰💰 PolyFund is a permissionless "fund layer" on top of Polymarket: traders (managers) can spin up onchain funds, charge performance fees, and trade prediction markets within the fund's isolated capital - while investors deposit, receive fund shares, and redeem per the fund lifecycle rules. Why it matters: it productizes Polymarket alpha. Instead of selling signals, managers can scale capital via profit-share, and passive LPs get managed exposure to prediction markets without living in the orderbook. Key edge vs generic vaults: it's purpose-built for Polymarket flows and fund isolation (manager can't just withdraw funds). If you trade PM seriously, this is a new narrative: managed prediction strategies as an onchain product. As for my view: 💡💡💡 At the moment, many prediction markets suffer from a lack of liquidity. My idea is to create dedicated funds that provide liquidity (LP) to prediction market platforms, managed by experienced traders - essentially operating as small-scale market makers. Currently, prediction market platforms strongly incentivize maintaining open interest in the order book through LP rewards programms, points, and similar mechanisms. This can generate attractive returns both for traders (fund managers) and for investors. At the same time, this activity directly benefits the prediction market platforms ( like @Polymarket , @opinionlabsxyz, @predictdotfun and etc) themselves by creating more balanced and liquid markets. In other words, I propose shifting funds from purely directional trading strategies toward liquidity-provision-focused funds (like mini market makers).
