I've spotted 13 pairs of constituency names that can be so changed - but there may be more. Let me know the ones you find and I will repost the answers as I get them. But please suggest just one pair of names per person per day. Let's see how many we can get! (3/3)

I am particularly pleased that Dyfed sub-Area 10b consists of the town of Tenby. (Read it aloud, if you are not sure why.)

There has been a recent increase in the external running costs of the parlconst site. If you enjoy these posts, please consider making a contribution. Just £2 each from a small proportion of followers would cover these extra costs for the rest of the year. buymeacoffee.com/parlconst

Ron Atkins’ daughter Charlotte Atkins was later Labour MP for Staffordshire Moorlands, while Robert Atkins’ daughter Victoria Atkins is Conservative MP for Louth & Horncastle (Ron Atkins, who died in 2020 age 104, was also the verified longest-lived person to have been an MP)
In the 1979 General Election in Preston North the sitting Labour MP, Ronald Atkins, was defeated by the Conservative Robert Atkins by just 29 votes.

**Christmas Competition** The first General Election I remember was when I was 8. There's a prize of a copy of David Butler's Nuffield study book of that election to who first guesses in which sub-Area of Group 28a I was living at the time. Reply by 31 December to win!

The latest Tweets timeline on the front page of the website had been turned off, because it no longer worked following changes by Twitter. But whether you can see the feed seems to be browser (& browser settings) dependent. Which do you see? Vote below. parlconst.org/

this will load a bit slowly so requires *patience*, but I've put the new UK constits on top of the current political map, and you can turn things on/off in top right (best on big screen, should be fine once it loads up) alasdairrae.github.io/wpc202…

When it ended in 1964, the Labour vote in both constituencies was virtually unchanged, but the combined Liberal and Conservative vote was split, letting Labour win in Huddersfield West, which they continued to do until 1979.
