I am pleased to announce that the website has been updated with all the remaining constituency groups. So, the current phase of the parlconst project is now complete until the next boundary reviews (due by 2033), subject to any (expected) corrections.

I have decided that I will no longer in future be posting on Twitter. So please follow along on Bluesky instead (same parlconst username).
Time to reveal the final pair:
Handsworth (1885-1918) and Wandsworth (1885-1918).
Thanks to everyone who played along.
Let's finish this today. If you know either or both of the two missing pairs, please submit them this morning. Otherwise, I will reveal them this afternoon.
20th pair to be got:
Gordon (1983-2024) and Gorton (1885-1918).
Two to get (which are the two I failed to get myself)!
Haddington/Paddington
Kennington/Kensington
Tonbridge/Tunbridge
Carlow/Harlow
Herefordshire N/Hertfordshire N
Leigh/Leith
Caernarvon/Caernarfon
Bothwell/Rothwell
Stratford/Stretford
Three more to be got.
A summary of those found so far:
Harlow/Harrow
Rye/Eye
Goole/Poole
Hereford/Hertford
Hanley/Henley
Llanelly/Lanelli
Ramsey/Romsey
Harrow/Jarrow
Stafford/Stamford
Fareham/Farnham
...
I've been put out of my misery and the computer generated list has been shared with me. Comparing the two, we can now agree the total is 22, so three more to get.
As the correspondent who has done a computer analysis hadn't counted Stratford/Stretford because I had added appendages to the two Stratfords in the index to distinguish them (they are both shown as Sratford in their area pages), I think the total we are aiming for is now 23.
19th entry is Stratford (either the Division of West Ham (1918-50) or in Warwickshire (1950-1974, when it was missing the on-Avon appendage)) and Stretford (1885 -1997).
Three to go, only one of which I have managed to find.
Number 18: Bothwell (1918-1983) and Rothwell (1918-1950).
Four to go, I believe, only two of which I know myself.
The 17th pair to be found is another English/Welsh spelling change:
Caernarvon (1918-1983) and Caernarfon (1918-2010).
Five to go, I think.
The 16th pair to be submitted is Leigh (1885-2024) and Leith (1918-1950).
Probably six still to find.
A new day, so third submissions are now allowed. I would like to wrap this up over the weekend, so if there are any pairs still not got by the end of today, I will take multiple submissions tomorrow from those who still have ideas.
I'm going to be offline for much of the rest of today, so there may be a delay in reporting on any further contributions to finding the missing pairs of constituencies.
I've now been informed by my earlier correspondent, who has used a computer analysis, that he thinks there are actually 22 pairs - so my list is two short again. So at least 5, and probably 7, still to find.
The 15th set now has been found:
Herefordshire N (2010- ) and Hertfordshire N (1983-97).
(Official names North Herefordshire and North Hertfordshire).
Another pair that I had overlooked and the first to contain compass points.
Six still to go.
