It was so weird to talk about a series from 2023- it’s just a couple of years but it feels like ages.

What's a body to an algorithm? A dataset. A pattern. A series of probabilities & categories. An abstraction that can be recognized, classified, predicted. To an algorithm, a body is not flesh, not weight, not breath but points in space. To an algorithm, a body is an input. 🔗👇

2024-2025 At @fellowshiptrust, we’re asking ourselves how to build a 2025 program that not only continues but evolves the ideas of the artists we worked with in 2024. What new questions and concepts about art can we explore? Which projects are missing from our curatorial timeline that would help solidify all that we released this year? These are some of the questions on our minds. In 2024, we released 43 projects and collaborated with more than 150 artists (intense!!!) from around the world. Moving into 2025, we want to continue fostering a curatorial space where artists feel heard, mentored, and supported. Thank you to all the artists, and thank you to the collectors for standing with us during one of the hardest years for NFTs. We delivered to the community the best ideas and art we believed needed to be seen and supported, and we will continue to do the same in the coming year. ➜Latent Ink by @Eko3316 in collaboration with @artxcode_io ➜Evolved Hallucinations by @trevorpaglen ➜Once Upon A Garden: The Complete Series by @LindaDouniaR in collaboration with @artxcode_io ➜The End of History by @MowglyLee ➜Along the River in Auntieverse by @niceaunties ➜Infinite Images ∞ by @hollyherndon and @matdryhurst ➜Auntiedote by @niceaunties in collab with @ExpandedArt ➜Auntlantis by @niceaunties ➜The Vault of Wonders: Chapter 1 - The Abyssal Unseen by @edbyus ➜DUCK by @Maclean_Rachel ➜ 몽상가 “Mongsangga” by @sheldrick_ai ➜Into The Warm Darkness by @solyaev ➜Color Fields by @weirdnikita ➜The Harmony of Tessellated Pixels and Synchronized Colors by @belowlucid ➜Everything in Unison by @katiemorrisart ➜Overthinking Machines by @Zuka_Kipiani ➜How to Make a Blade Whisper by @PuffYachty ➜Portals by Group Show with @MiloPoelman @domingoypablo Christopher Royal King ➜About the Weather by @EmiTrevisani ➜Texture Moppers by @loved_orleer ➜Tales from the Cryptids by Daily Artist in collaboration with @StrangeHistoryX ➜Dr. Tellington's Textbook of Terrific Tales and Timeless Truths by @Ethereal_Gwirl @LeMoonSynth ➜Primal Inheritance by @HarryHardawn ➜It’s All About Love by @prostov_gordey ➜Dysfunctional Cortex by @ai_art_of_chaos ➜Echoes of the future by @panaviscope ➜BAD JPEGS by @mind_wank ➜Mystéres Amers by @Ethereal_Gwirl @LeMoonSynth ➜One Thing is One Thing (and Not Another) by @Rabbunnitt ➜BIOSgraphy by @dontbuy_ ➜Misunderstandings by @charlieengman ➜On These Streets by @andrea_ciulu ➜TILT by @nikitadiakur ➜(loop (format t "~%")) by @nouseskou ➜STATIC DISPERSALS & RECONSTRUCTED FABLES by @LEGIO_X_ ➜Auntieverse by @niceaunties ➜naturalorder by @bagdelete ➜Changing Places by @SimonRaion THE DAILY PROGRAM YEAR 1 ➜137 artists with 3173 PPP3 TAMING THE MACHINE: ➜10 artist exploring post-photography including @dtpisanty (@lumenprize winner) COLLABORATIONS WITH THE ARTIFICIAL SELF IN COLLABORATION WITH ARTEMETA IN BASEL: ➜17 artists tracing the evolution of AI art, including the work made with AARON by Harold Cohen. AI tools for image making are getting good, really good. ↓ Your morning read by photo curator @gallegosfer There are cases in which I really can’t tell if what I’m seeing is a photograph or something else, they are achieving a truly photographic appearance, however, I’ve seen some artists turn towards older versions of the different software that are available, why is that? Artificial intelligence-based bodies of work seem to be based on the error, the glitch, and the lack of control over the result, as a way to engage in conversation with computers themselves, artists seem to want to have this conversation, to send something to them and then get back a response that is as unpredictable as another person would be. When we have a result that is as precise and as realistic in appearance the language becomes a different one, and it’s one that we already have with photography. I have to say that photorealistic bodies of work made with AI will never be as good as photography-based bodies of work, it’s not a matter of looks, but a matter of the nature of the language. Photorealistic bodies of work are not the strong suit of AI as a medium, it’s just an emulation of what photography already does, a copy that is, inevitably, cheap. To see some artists prefer older versions of these softwares is an interesting development toward the understanding of what could be the real language of these kinds of bodies of work. I think this development is what keeps the medium exciting, to see artists “fight” the language of computers instead of becoming slaves to them, a further exploration of humanity, and an effort to remain, in fact, human. → @ossagrosse - Downscale
