Revisited → Into The Warm Darkness by @solyaev On February 24, 2024, we presented "Into The Warm Darkness" by Iv Solyaev on Daily, as a solo show for the Daily Program. We wanted to bring it back today. ↓ Iv Solyaev lives and works in Tbilisi. He has worked in digital graphics since 2003, taking part in major projects as a concept artist and art director, with clients including Universal Pictures, HBO, Nintendo, Intel, MPC, DNEG, and Adult Swim. His work has also featured in international exhibitions. Solyaev works across a range of digital techniques to build dark, pleasing compositions drawn from interpretations of natural patterns, with a focus on texture and inner mythologies. "Into The Warm Darkness" is inspired by fairy tales and a dark kingdom world of Solyaev's own creation. Some of its ideas originate in a game project for consoles and PCs set in that same universe. The series stages a metaphorical battle: people, flowers on their graves, doom, and the endless hope that persists even on the darkest nights.
