the ACF stuff over the weekend is what's really made me sit up and take notice. Kinda hoping the ecosystem splits definitively as I'm not sure there's much in the Automattic vision for WP I'm attached to

Congratulations! If you end up moving the catalogue too one day, I'd be happy to try and build a new connector to make it searchable on the website

Not a battle/victory indeed, but great to read your update which sounds like positive news. Onwards!

I’ve spent quite a bit of time on my gutters this weekend, and I think I was influenced by this

Thanks, still looks to be down though. Is this related to your cyber incident?

Interesting. Looks like their photocard application system is out of action at the moment, and has been for a while (which I thought was strange in business hours): tfl.gov.uk/help-and-contact/…

@TfL Trying to explore getting a 16-17 Zip card ordered for my son but the website is under maintenance - is this temporary or is there a long term issue with getting photocards/applying online?

This seems to be a level of canapés and possets I don't remember seeing in Civil Service meetings - even in the glory days

Yeah, I've ended up a bit confused by that in the recen past. Where's it embedded? Are you blocking any cookies/third party scripts in your browser?

If you're looking to lobby the new crop of MPs, my 'Which constituency is that in?' postcode lookup tool has been updated with the latest Parliament API data (thanks to an anonymous civil servant for giving me the nudge): constituencies.squiffy.io/

Imagine being able to have another go at the job you had and loved 14 years ago, with the benefit of everything you've learned in the meantime. I'd be grinning too 😃

MP or peer (so if not an MP, you have to give them a life peerage, like David Cameron), so they can answer questions in Parliament on their brief. If the Sec of State is a peer (like Cam, or Mandelson), a junior minister reps them in the Commons
