Because most betters are partisans not quants. This doesnt weigh by bet size so you’ll get a lot of republicans who bet $20 on their team to win. They happened to be right in 2024.
I’d be surprised if the same wasn’t true for Democrats betters. They likely all voted blue in 2024 and blue now.

Idk this is an extreme example. All the cases I know are people moving from a 1 or 2 bed apartment as a couple to a 4 or 5 bed house when they’re pregnant with their first “because they need the space”. I think those people would be just fine in a 3 bed apartment or even 2 bed if no one works from home.
