why we post from founder's profiles, not the company page on linkedin:
linkedin's own report: individual profiles get 8x the performance.
our data: individual profiles get 40x-80x the performance because of the outbound leverage
a company dms you, you don't care. a person dms you get 5-10x the response rate.
ever since i started sending "looking forward to chatting!" emails before sales calls, my show up rates went through the roof

LinkedIn now lets verified companies remove false employment claims and verified members vouch for colleagues’ work histories. Who is vouching for this unrealistic profile?
the amount of money sf companies spend on marketing activations is insane. i'm happy to run around with a sign for some photos and call it a day

@VirioAI @itsericlay Congrats on the new office space!! One of the best decorated startup offices & so proud of this team for ripppping this year.
apparently, the founders going viral on LinkedIn think it's because their content is good and not because their company is the hot one right now.
if I was a b2b founder today, i'd be going all-in on linkedin organic to win my market.
however, i wouldn't hand my profile to an agency without understanding what makes content convert. i'd use performance data as a tool, not a replacement.
i'd also start building my executive brand before i needed pipeline, not after. under no circumstance would i let my LinkedIn sit empty while competitors took meetings from buyers scrolling their feed. the buyer's attention belongs to whoever shows up.
if tiktok had their own ai to create content, they're crushing mr beast. they know exactly what will get you hooked. the tiktok algo cannot be defeated.
90% of our team are former founders. They won't just do what you tell them. That's why we don't tell them what to do.
If you hire people who've built companies, you can't manage them like employees.
So instead of assignments, we give:
- context
- the why behind every decision
- direct access to the founders
- ownership of outcomes, not tasks
- permission to disagree
My case for building on LinkedIn > Twitter
On Twitter you're talking to other founders, VCs, and engineers. It's fast, it's fun, and it's where you build a name inside tech. Great for status. Great for hiring. Great for feeling like you're in the room.
If you sell B2B, the person who signs your contract is a VP of something. They're not up at 11pm scrolling X. They're on LinkedIn between meetings, watching who shows up in their feed with something actually useful.
We've driven $110M+ in pipeline for founders. Almost none of it started on Twitter.
Not because Twitter is bad. Because the buyer lives somewhere else.
So here's what I tell people:
If you want a reputation among startup founders & VCs post on Twitter.
If you want enterprise pipeline, post on LinkedIn.
If you sell B2B and can only do one, it's not close.
Most founders pick Twitter anyway, because posting there is more fun. Then they wonder why the content never turns into revenue.
Build where the person who pays you is actually paying attention.
