Today, I was chatting with a few old friends on WhatsApp — most of them now settled abroad.
We were talking about how India has become the world’s 4th largest economy. Everyone felt proud.
But then someone shared a video of their parents' house in Bangalore that was flooded with water last week.
And just like that, the mood shifted.
One said, “No matter how much India grows, I can’t imagine moving back.” Sadly, others also agreed.
Top reasons –– Poor infra, High taxes, Caste census, & demand of Reservation in private sector.
People don’t realise how dangerous this caste-based politics can be for the country.
When the brightest minds want to leave & those who’ve already left don’t want to return — the future looks deeply concerning.
