My timeline has been flooded with comments mocking me: “Why don’t you bring your sisters and mothers to join Garba?” The irony is that they’re less bothered about why Muslim men are attending Garba and more bothered about why Muslim women aren’t. The fact that they keep bringing up Muslim women in this context says a lot about their own creepy fantasies. Stop projecting your obsessions onto Muslim families.

The state is deliberately prolonging Ashu and Saurav’s illegal arrest by using every dirty trick in the book to delay court proceedings and prevent their release. They have no legal grounds to keep them behind bars, so they are resorting to delaying tactics to keep them there.
