I use it to automate posts. I specifically love the mcp setup it has. I can create content with Claude and schedule it to buffer directly from Claude itself. Either way 9-5 it gets super busy and I cannot spend time every hour on X. So I have to automate some posts. It’s pretty useful. There is also a kanban board view that helps with organizing ideas.

We’re working on bringing @buffer to macOS!
I’ve been rebuilding our iOS app in SwiftUI, so we can now bring Buffer to entirely new platforms without much effort, including macOS and visionOS!

spent the weekend building a Chrome extension on top of @buffer's API.
it’s a little companion app in your browser’s side panel: capture ideas, write posts, check your queue and schedule, without leaving the page you’re on.

Rebuilt my website with Claude Code, and I'm thrilled with it: hailleygriffis.com/
It's an Astro site, hosted on Cloudflare from a private GitHub repo. I also hooked a couple of pages up to the @buffer API.
After years of working within WordPress templates, I feel so free!
Substack🤝Buffer
As of today, you can schedule Substack Notes alongside your other social channels in Buffer. 🎉
Notes are commonly where Substack writers are seeing growth, but they are also unplanned for many writers.
Now with Buffer and Substack you can:
→ Plan your Notes in advance and schedule them with the rest of your channels, in one place.
→ See how many free and paid subscribers each Note brought in, so you know which writing converts.
→ Track impressions and follows per Note alongside your other analytics.
→ Turn a line from your latest newsletter into a Note.
Substack Notes is available on every Buffer plan, including free.
Writing on Substack? Drop your publication below, and we'll follow along.

- what tools and workflows do you use for AI content?
- how do you avoid creating AI slop?
- how do you feel about the risks of publishing AI content?
- where does generative AI still totally suck?

Built a small Pinterest bot for Four Sparrows, a client of mine, so their content keeps moving without manual posting.
It reads a content sheet, matches each image with its title, description, link, alt text and tags, hosts the visuals on Cloudinary, then publishes one complete pin per day through Buffer + GitHub Actions.

We've recently shifted our AI strategy at Buffer. Rather than packing AI features into the product, our focus is making Buffer great to use with AI. It's about flexibility, interoperability and extensibility. We're making Buffer delightful to use and build upon.

Spent 2 days automating my entire distribution pipeline
No more wasting coding hours trying to build in public manually
Now shipping updates run 90% on autopilot

Hey Alle, thanks for the fair and valuable review! Where you've shared we fall short on Instagram are very reasonable critiques. We'll get to work on those!
A couple of things to mention:
- There's no catch! At least that's not how we operate, we're really trying to provide a lot of value and have a long-term journey with customers.
- Analytics are currently in a little bit of an in-between. We have our new Insights in beta, available to enable for anyone at all by going to Account → Beta Features. Insights will eventually fully replace Analyze, and is already more powerful in a number of ways. We'll also include a portion of analytics on the free plan going forward. This is why the current experience (Analyze, in a new tab) feels a bit awkward. I can assure you the Insights experience will be significantly better than Analyze within a few months, and we'll drop that new tab experience.
- We're adding more AI-enhancements to the product over time, but our large recent focus was on launching our API, which comes with MCP (and CLI). So you can now connect Buffer directly with ChatGPT or Claude and brainstorm with your AI chat, and once you have a post you can push it directly to your Queue or Ideas. More details here: buffer.com/api.
And by the way, let me know if you have any questions for me, happy to answer.
