.@willnorman: what are you doing to improve the behaviour of London cyclists? All but a small minority now fail to stop at red lights and many use pavements illegally. All this puts other road users & especially pedestrians at unacceptable risk. Time to stop it.
If foreign nationals will only alleviate 0.31% of crime then why do they take up almost 20% of prison spaces?
And why will it only free up 0.31% of social housing when they’re currently occupying between 10/20% of it?
Why are you lying?
Ignore Bob. He has a visceral hatred for anything that moves that isn't a bicycle.

We provide spaces for 3,450 bikes at any one time across 380 parking bays, 6,300 spaces including micro mobility bays. But when bikes are parked dangerously, we will seize them and fine the dockless bike companies.
An oversaturation of food delivery bikes always useful for bolstering cycling popularity

For London to hit anything like its targets it has to get cycling up in outer London. This is not happening, meanwhile the public realm in inner and central London is trashed.

London’s cycling czar is making a hell of a mess of London’s streets for pedestrians and has created more danger for cyclists since he was appointed. Disabled people are collateral damage he doesn’t care about.

There was no hate in this city until you. London got on with it. Then you arrived, you and your imported mates and your stone age ideology, and everything you touched curdled into a grievance with a budget attached.
So now you are spending £17 million fighting hate crime. You are not curing it. You are paying for your own mess.
Seventeen million pounds. On a problem you invented, in a week nobody has heard of, to remind us how welcome and valued we are, as though we were guests in our own city.
Try spending it on something the English actually want. A bus that turns up. A street you can walk down at night. A copper who is not on a course. Then watch how fast the hate evaporates.
The poison of hatred and prejudice. You talk as if it drifted in off the sea. It walked in through your door.
And the great love affair you are having with yourself is nearly over. When it ends you will discover exactly how much hate is out here waiting for you. Yes, Sadiq. We really do hate you. Tic-Tok
I refuse to allow the poison of hatred and prejudice to drip into our communities. That’s why I’ve invested £17 million in initiatives to tackle hate crime.
This National Hate Crime Awareness Week reminds us why it’s important to build a London where everyone feels safe, welcome, and valued.

They voted for someone who has failed upwards their entire career.
Sagal worked as a councillor, housing officer, and then promoted to cabinet member for housing and then head of Camden council.
During that time the housing ombudsman found 124 cases of ‘severe’ maladministration, an 83% admin failure rate, endless cases of damp and mould (some tenants waited 6 years for repairs) 500 cases of mould in Camden flats, and found the housing dept to be ‘rude and confrontational’ to tenants.
The list of failures is endless. Look them up.
Yesterday, Holborn and St Pancras voted for hope.
Congratulations @Sagal_AW and the whole team on a fantastic campaign. Looking forward to working together!

.@willnorman is still telling untruths about cycle safety and his bike lanes. He claims they have multiplied 5 times and are safer. He’s spent 1.5 billion and there are far more serious injuries. His is a disastrous policy designed to give a false sense of safety. The 2026 figure for only 5 months.

Explain to me how we are ment to work cause this is a absolute disgrace how London is being run. Heads need to roll for the way London has been brought to its knees
State of the roads in central London tonight. Hardly anything moving. Take a bow @MayorofLondon @willnorman @CityWestminster

For more than a decade TfL prioritised London’s smallest, most exclusive mode, cycling, in favour of all else. It shouldn’t surprise anyone, least of all the Mayor of London, that this was a disastrous choice for bus services: theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-i…

Sir Jim built Ineos from a single plant buyout into a company that employs tens of thousands worldwide, including thousands in the UK at sites such as Grangemouth. That is industrial employment, not parasitism. What comparable jobs have you created? And while you are on the subject of money: you launched an unauthorised Your Party membership portal, the fees went into MOU Operations Ltd, you later became its sole director, and members were still chasing refunds months later. Where is that money now, and have you given it back?
How about including the 110,000 minicabs you've licenced?
The biggest change on the school run isn't what's there - it's what's not.
On average, there are now 73,915 fewer car journeys on school days in the capital. That means healthier, greener choices, and cleaner air for our kids.

ALT Graphic with the headline “Imagine a queue of cars from London to Newcastle.” A map of England shows a line of cars stretching from London to Newcastle upon Tyne. An orange circle states “On average, 73,915 fewer car journeys.” Text at the bottom reads: “That’s how many fewer car trips are being made in London each school day compared with when the Mayor took office ten years ago.” The Mayor of London logo appears at the bottom right.

Congestion off the charts 📈 @TfL Private hire driver licences - 112,343 an increase of 18l on the previous week, there were 219 new licences issued .. Weekending 30 Aug #Climate #Transport 💨
It's only being cheered on by vehicle hating cyclists like Bob. They couldn't care less about the displaced congestion because they don't go anywhere near the place.

That will really rather depend on how much chaos the plans cause elsewhere - the West End needs an area wide traffic reduction plan to support this - the Mayor has just taken a small area to pedestrianise Oxford Street, and the traffic plan is to just muddle through.
It's always the ones who'd be least impacted telling everyone else how wonderful it's going to be. Not that they used it anyway.

And frankly, it’s bonkers that one of the best known and most important shopping streets in the world wasn’t pedestrianised years ago.
He's been trying for years but Bob's no closer to understanding how a taxi service works

We earn a living on the streets , unlike most others , so any reduction in our workspace will naturally be resisted and be a negative outcome for us . To say that any scheme benefits all Londoners is a sweeping generalisation . Some schemes in hindsight are very good , some not
