✊️ A just transition isn’t a footnote, it’s the backbone of a feminist, people-powered climate future. The Belém Action Mechanism (BAM) calls on states to commit to transitions that center workers, protect communities, and dismantle inequalities baked into the current system.
As negotiations intensify, securing the BAM is a non-negotiable for climate justice advocates at #COP30. Because without justice at the core, climate action risks leaving the very people — especially women, girls & frontline communities — behind.
Time for #BAM

“A decade into the Paris Agreement, we meet not to celebrate but to confront failed implementations. Only 2% of global climate finance goes to African women. The Feminist COP in Maputo seeks to reclaim that voice and power.” — @anne_tek, Climate Justice Coordinator, FEMNET ✊🏾
