Today, the WI State Senate passed @EricWimberger and @RepGoebenWI's legislation, SB 384, which provides clear guidance to the health care community on the standard of care required for a child born alive after a failed abortion attempt. While Wisconsin law defines “born alive” and grants legal status to children who survive abortion attempts, SB 384 establishes protections owed to a child born alive in those circumstances. We’re grateful to the Senators who voted in favor of this bill.
