I think this was actually one of "The Education Governor's" biggest missteps. Because the funding could be used for tutoring and technology in addition to tuition, it could have actually helped Wisconsin students remain in our public schools rather than apply to a private school out of frustration. There was yet another serious crash yesterday at the intersection of Hwy 67 and Hwy CW. My office has already reached out to the @WisconsinDOT first thing this morning to see what, if any, progress is being made on this dangerous stretch of highway. We will keep you updated with any pertinent information. I will continue to push for the state to make this area safer for everyone.

I have since been to the Gaza envelope, visited the bullet-riddled and charred remains of the Nahal Oz observation outpost, heard a survivor speak at the heartbreaking site of the Nova Music Festival, walked through Kibbutz Nir Oz where the Bibas boys were held hostage, kidnapped and killed, and driven through Sderot in view of the memorial where their police station stood before being bombed by Hamas terrorists. I am so incredibly humbled to have been presented with the Recovery Alignment Legislative Award this afternoon by Helios Recovery Services, @WisHopeRecovery, and @Rogers_BH. But the REAL heroes in the room were those in recovery and those doing the daily work of serving and advocating for individuals battling substance use disorders.
