Our exciting new polling shows that 62% of people in NI support UBI! This research, carried out by @LucidTalk in May, shows that when those for or against UBI are considered, a massive 62% would like to see it introduced here. So let's make it happen!

Free money for all: How Universal Basic Income entered the political mainstream

Its advocates range from Tim Berners-Lee to Pope Francis, while Andy Burnham has said he’d like to see it trialled in Greater Manchester. So could UBI be an idea whose time has come?

Isn’t this exciting - in Northern Ireland they can form an ALL PARTY group on UBI !!! In the UK generally we could do the same except we lack One Party - The Tory Party, Whatever happened to the One Nation Tories?

Later today we will be launching our radical basic income pilot. Simply put – this scheme gives care leavers a guaranteed monthly income to help set them on a path to live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives. We'll explain in more detail in today’s press conference.
