As science papers are difficult to read, @TrainerRoad @SarahLaverty_ and myself discussed our recent study comparing 90 and 120 g/h. We did our best to present the study as simply as possible without leaving out the important details. Check it out!

Completed my FTP Ramp test yesterday. Got a nice 17 Watt increase in FTP after 6 weeks of adaptive training. I really liked adaptive training.

having done FTP ramp tests, 8min + 20mins protocols— today was the first time that the effort, pacing, feeling strong and fresh matched the result. I’m going to say the @TrainerRoad Adaptive Training worked to get a double digit bump up. Still a LONG way to go but stoked!

Some thoughts as you wade through diet ads in you post-holiday social feed.
Remember, it’s not what you do between Thanksgiving & New Year’s Eve; it’s what you do between New Year’s Eve & Thanksgiving that most impacts health. Also, it’s a pandemic. Be gentle with yourself.
Food fuels performance and provides needed nutrients. But far too many of us moralize what we eat in the name of performance, with profound impacts on how we relate to food. TrainerRoad’s @ambermalika offers a different perspective. buff.ly/3qIOkUJ

@TrainerRoad Going into this fitness assessment I felt the strongest I've felt in a long long time prior. This gave me the positive attitude that I often lack, I feel strong, not fast, but calmingly strong thanks to adaptive training. Thanks Nate and team.
