No? OK prove me wrong then, but here is an example of a spam tweet by a bot. You can see it is "Twitter for Android", I had to use nitter.net to see that as Melon has helpfully removed any visual indicator a tweet is from an app...
Haha, well done @TwitterSafety - we can't quote what "Gender Critical" people say without being censured. But they can use the app to abuse with little done to stop them.
Ha, @oolon here, looks like the "gender critical" mass reported one of my tweets. One referring to the horrific things they've said - appealed but @TwitterSafety are usually glacially slow
Those are the T&Cs, it promises to only block people for you. It will propagate unblocks for you. Go ahead and complain all you like, @blocktogether was running for years having been passed by @TwitterAPI as conforming to their developer standards.
The point about permission is also one based in ignorance of Twitter's API, when you create an application you get three options for the permissions it asks for. Read, Read & Write and the third which gives DM access. The bot needs to read and write, but will never Tweet for you-
I would like to give everyone a succinct update concerning our operations - set to music. youtu.be/I_izvAbhExY
