Adversarial testing is a natural fit for Bittensor's incentive design, and Perturb (SN26 - @perturbaix) is a good example of why.
The hard part of AI security testing is coverage, since human red teams check a handful of inputs, while attackers automate anyway.
Perturb's answer is to make attack discovery a paid competition on SN26 where miners compete to find the changes that flip a model's answer, validators verify each attack stays imperceptible, and copied work earns nothing. Only real discovery gets paid.
Customers buy the output of that competition via a robustness score, a vulnerability heatmap, verified attack data that can feed retraining, and an on-chain certificate of testing. Image-model testing is live; text and LLM attack testing is on Perturb's roadmap.
The same property that makes attacks scalable (automation) makes defense scalable too, if the network pays for the right discoveries.
And that is Perturb's mechanism in a nutshell.

That’s the problem Perturb (Bittensor Subnet 26) is tackling: miners search for adversarial examples that expose model weaknesses, then those findings can help teams measure and harden their models.
Perturb’s site currently offers image-classification scans, with robustness scores, accuracy comparisons, and examples of inputs that fooled the model.
