🚨 DID YOU MISS THIS?! QUANTUM COMPUTING IS ALREADY ON BITTENSOR! I sat down with Bob Wold ( @BeyondNISQ ), founder of qBitTensor Labs, to dive into SN48 @QuantumSN48 and @EnigmaSN63 And theres A LOT happening here! 🔹 SN48 uses bittensor:native incentives to subsidize access to REAL quantum computers. 🔹 Miners execute real quantum workloads and earn ALPHA. 🔹 Users receive $50 in free quantum compute every 90 days. 🔹 SN48 is opening mining and beginning revenue funded ALPHA buybacks. 🔹 SN63 Enigma offers a $250,000 RSA encryption breaking challenge. 🔹 Could quantum computers eventually break Bitcoin and access Satoshi's wallet? 🔹 Google's Willow chip and the race toward quantum resistant cryptography. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Intro Song 00:58 Can Quantum Computing Break Bitcoin? 02:07 Meet Bob Wold 03:52 Quantum Computing Explained 09:50 SN48 Quantum Compute 19:28 SN63 Enigma & $250K RSA Challenge 25:49 Quantum Threats to Bitcoin 35:19 Can Bitcoin Become Quantum Resistant? 39:16 Google's Willow Chip One of the most interesting conversations we've had about the future of Bittensor! 🎥 WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW 👇 youtube.com/live/rEaGFK5yn8g #Bittensor #TAO #QuantumComputing

24 hours. Real quantum challenges. A whole lot of building. That was SC Quantathon V3 at Clemson University. Between the student teams taking on real quantum computing challenges and the energy in the mentors' room, there was a lot of excitement around what happens when ambitious problems are backed by meaningful incentives. @QuantumRingsInc sponsored one of the event’s two challenges, building on work from the Mines Capstone and MIT Hackathon as we continue working toward bringing simulators to Open Quantum. This is what we like to see: ideas moving from one group of builders to the next, getting tested, improved, and pushed forward. #QuantumComputing #OpenQuantum #SCQuantathon #ClemsonUniversity

The first Open Quantum Insights report is getting some attention. We recently published a deep dive into our Public Tier usage data (powered by Bittnsor), looking at how people are actually using quantum hardware across the Open Quantum platform. @QuantumDaily picked up the findings and published an exposé of their own, exploring how price, access, and hardware performance are shaping demand across quantum computing. Pretty exciting to see the data sparking a bigger conversation across the industry! #OpenQuantum #QuantumComputing #SN48 #QuantumDaily

A major change is coming to mining on SN48. Right now, miners are required to prove they own a quantum computer to participate, which is an extremely high barrier to entry. Coming soon, miners will instead be able to participate by contributing QPU credits, opening up mining to everyone. SN48 mining is about to become a whole lot more accessible. #QuantumCompute #SN48 #Bittensor #OpenQuantum

OpenRouter for AI. Open Quantum for quantum. OpenRouter gives developers one API to access hundreds of models across different providers. Open Quantum does the same for quantum computing: one API connecting users to QPUs across multiple hardware providers. OpenRouter recently sold for $7.5B. With the model proven, the sky's the limit for Open Quantum. #OpenQuantum #QuantumCompute #SN48

Status Update on 63 + 48 Emission: As of this morning, emission has been reenabled on both @EnigmaSN63 and @QuantumSN48. Reports have told us that this is true for the other subnets affected by this cutoff as well. This is of course exciting, but does leave us with a number of questions still. At this time, we still have little insight into how these decisions were made or why. If @const_reborn or anyone at @opentensor has these answers, we'd love to talk and share our own insights on how sudden changes like this can impact subnets and more importantly, the holders who see the vision and have staked their hard-earned TAO. In the meantime, we'll continue with our own investigation, so we can avoid another event like this in the future. It's been heartwarming to see the support from the community during this difficult and confusing time and we appreciate all of you who helped make our voice heard 🩵

Introducing the Open Quantum Insights Report! We've just released our Summer 2026 edition, diving into the data from real users on Open Quantum, exploring the who, the what, and the how of quantum computing. This data is compiled exclusively from Open Quantum's public tier, powered by #Bittensor! The quarterly report seeks to clear up common misconceptions on quantum computing and demystify questions like * Which devices are most popular? * Which devices are fastest? * What are quantum computers actually used for? We answer all of this and more in this report. Go check it out! openquantum.com/insights #SN48 #OpenQuantum

Introducing the new and improved Open Quantum whitepaper! The platform has evolved greatly since its launch in December and it seems fitting that our whitepaper be updated to reflect these changes. We've expanded on the paper substantially, diving deeper into the architecture, integrations, and Open Quantum Edge. This paper is also published with an official DOI on Zenodo. We're thrilled to release the paper in this way, not only to inform the existing Bittensor community, but also to engage the broader scientific community and bring them into the ecosystem. Give it a read! zenodo.org/records/22103261 #SN48 #OpenQuantum #QuantumCompute
