@0x5f_eth just published a new proposal for the Ethos platform.
The aim is to reduce โthe coordinated gamingโ of the system by communities to achieve reputable status over a short period of time. Or influence multiple outcomes over a short span of time.
I find this proposal interesting because it shows the need to iterate in a somewhat decentralised space.
However many people myself included review a lot of people at once as opposed to reviewing daily.
I like scenario 1 in the image below. however I would iterate on it further saying instead of becoming fully active chronologically, why donโt you make all active on day one but nerf the scores linearly the more they review on that day.
So almost a slow drip until full ethos score is applied on the said day.
Eg. 15th review ; fully unlocks day 15, however day 1 gets 1/15th the score, day 2 gets 2/15th score โฆ day 15 gets 15/15 the score.
