I've always believed that as a region, APAC has all the tools and advantage necessary to launch incredible businesses. Each market has its own strengths and challenges but collectively there's a lot to be excited about in APAC as crypto matures.

The next wave of web3 infrastructure won't always look like crypto. At Sogni, it means connecting GPUs through a decentralized network so more people can create with AI. We're building it from Singapore. Good to see @ARCdotXYZ mapping the builders and challenges across APAC.

Asia has always been seen as a single market. It's easier to explain, understand and to an extent - sell. Until you put boots and ears on the ground will one actually fully realize the fragmentation between not just countries but cities can be intimidating. But. Is there money to be made? Yes. Is there opportunity? Yes. But how can we better understand it? That was literally what @0xJayHK and Tamir from @PreferencesAi were discussing with me in Hong Kong at @consensus2027 earlier this year. So we decided to fuck it and put our brains (with the help of AI of course) to put this together. ARC started all the years ago with the purpose of making crypto in Asia a smaller place. In that, with the many members around Asia and beyond connecting people and gaining insights would be much easier than ever before. This report encapsulates the insights we have gotten from selected members in the hope this helps the industry further understand everything from builder sentiment to regulatory hurdles. Too many to tag, so will let my team do it in the main post 🤣🤣🤣 Do give this a read if you like and hope this helps you all. ps 1: shoutout to @jaclynleezy for running point on this ps 2: feedback welcomed as always

Glad to have contributed our perspective to ARC's 2026 APAC Crypto Infrastructure Map. As an active participant in Singapore's digital asset ecosystem, we're pleased to be part of these conversations and look forward to more exchanges with industry peers, media and partners across the region.

At Sogni, we're building a decentralized GPU network out of Singapore. We deal with the unglamorous stuff every day: banking, paying GPU workers, compliance, fiat rails. Good to see @ARCdotXYZ looking at the builder side of APAC!

Just as you'd head to Singapore for the best chilli crab, Thailand for stewed pork trotter rice or Hong Kong for the best wanton noodles, knowing where to go matters in crypto too. The ARC × @PreferencesAI report, dropping on Wednesday, 14 October, offers an in-depth look at Crypto Infrastructure Map across APAC. It's written for founders choosing where to incorporate and hire, allocators assessing where portfolio companies can realistically operate, institutions evaluating counterparty and underwriting risk, and practitioners seeking an honest picture of the region's progress.

APAC led global growth in on-chain transaction volume. Over that same period, however, its most established hubs steadily raised their barriers to entry. So, which APAC market is "winning crypto"? Vietnam ranks highest for builder conviction in our six-market analysis. Yet it ranks last overall on the Builder Sentiment Index (BSI), which gives greater weight to the conditions businesses need to operate. How does the most optimistic market end up at the bottom? That's one of the questions behind the 2026 APAC Crypto Infrastructure Map report, co-authored by ARC and @PreferencesAI, with insights from our network layer at @arcthecommunity. Pairing qualitative field research with large-scale synthetic modelling, the report examines six markets: Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. It covers nine sectors: Stablecoins, RWA/DePIN, DeFi/prediction markets, AI, centralised exchanges, funders/VC, macro, robotics and launchpads. The analysis looks at what it takes to build a crypto business, from licensing and banking access to capital, institutional infrastructure and talent. It also examines builders' expectations and whether conditions are improving. Hong Kong and Singapore lead the BSI rankings, supported by their strengths in institutional infrastructure and capital depth. Vietnam ranks last despite leading on conviction, reflecting gaps in the infrastructure businesses need to operate once licensed. The report also explores where each hub's strengths lie. Depending on your priorities, its findings point towards: - Hong Kong for institutional issuance - Singapore for raising and holding capital - South Korea for reaching users at speed - Vietnam for testing consumer product-market fit - Malaysia for a faster, realistic path to licensing - Thailand for tax-efficient retail distribution The full ARC × PreferencesAI report drops on Wednesday, 14 October.

First-time founders and businesses looking to expand to APAC often ask us: "Where can a crypto business actually operate and grow?" In APAC, a market might have users but limited access to capital. Another might have capital, but banking restrictions make it difficult to operate. Others have plenty of builders, yet institutional investors remain hesitant to deploy capital. Honestly, there’s no straightforward answer. If you were starting a crypto company in APAC today, where would you base it? - Singapore - Hong Kong - South Korea - Thailand - Malaysia - Vietnam - Somewhere else

Looking for businesses to back or founders to build with? Meet ARC during TOKEN2049 week in Singapore. ARC is a venture scaling network proudly based in Singapore. We work alongside founders to shape their products, build their brands, and reach new markets. We connect them with investors and partners who can get their products into customers’ hands, and operators with experience scaling businesses. What makes ARC unique is that we’re backed by a collective of 888 curated builders and investors across Web2 and Web3, @arcthecommunity. Their experience, relationships, and support help the businesses in our ecosystem grow. During TOKEN2049 week, we’ll be bringing together our members, the teams we’re incubating, fellow investors, and venture builders. So, if you represent a family office exploring new businesses in Asia, are a founder looking to back other founders, or can help a company reach new customers, we’d like to meet you. Send us a DM with what you’re looking to build or back, and our team will get back to you.

One of the best parts of building an ecosystem? Watching different parts of it build on each other. This time, it was the 3Ps: People, Probiotics, Pilates. We recently welcomed VAURA Pilates as an ARC partner, giving members preferential rates on class packs and memberships across all their studios in Singapore. To kick things off, members came together to sweat it out at VAURA Cross Street. Big shoutout to Steph and the team for hosting us! And because apparently Pilates wasn’t enough wellness for one day, Archemi Labs (archemilabs.com/) joined the party too. As one of the companies in the ARC ecosystem, Archemi kept everyone refreshed and sent each participant home either GLP1biotics: GLP-1 Signaling Probiotics+ or Neurobiome: Gut-Brain-Cellular Probiotics+. VAURA brought the burn. Archemi took care of the gut. We'd say it was a pretty solid wellness stack. That’s what we like about a great ecosystem. Bring great people and companies into it, and they start finding ways to make the whole thing better for each other. ARC

Enough founder success stories. Tell us what almost killed the company. At a recent event ARC co-hosted with @elephantsinc & @awscloud, we got founders and investors to talk candidly about the mistakes, wrong assumptions and near-death experiences that shaped how they build today. Four lessons for anyone building in Asia 👇

Yacht parties are so 2020. Not because they’re bad. But because nothing compounds afterwards. Since June, the ladies in ARC have been leading AI sessions for the collective. For Session 4, 12 ARC members came together to share what they’ve been building with AI. They demoed their projects, gave each other advice, and shared useful tools and resources to help everyone push their ideas further. Recap: arc-ladies-ai.vercel.app/ses… At the end of a yacht party, you leave with mostly photos and a hangover. At the end of these AI sessions, you leave with something you’ve built. Maybe it improves your daily workflow. Maybe it solves a problem for someone else. Maybe it becomes a product you keep building long after the session ends. That’s the kind of gathering we want more of at ARC: come together, build something, and help each other make it better. Then see where it compounds from there.
