Said by every retard on earthβ¦. Binance be fucking for real!
If one DevOps engineer getting compromised is all it took we deserve to go to zero.
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineerβs laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the companyβs funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions.

The real story tonight isnβt the hack. Itβs the freeze.
Tether and Circle locked ~$1.8B in stablecoins within hours and Aave froze its markets.
The ~195k ETH ($450M+)? Nobody can touch it.
βDecentralizedβ money had an off switch tonight. Remember that next time someone tells you it doesnβt.
100% a state led attack
And thereβs only one state-backed organisation that has the balls to hack Binanceβ¦ Starts with a D ends with K.. any guesses?
ok safe to say binance is pwned
The biggest assets were approximately:
β’ 1.615B USDT
β’ 62.6M RLUSD
β’ 29,934 wBETH
β’ 11,372 XAUt
β’ 6.19M UNI
β’ 198.4M ENA
β’ 7.175T PEPE
β’ 27.8M USD1
β’ 2.26M LINK
β’ 127,853 AAVE
about $2.5B at the explorerβs prices.
1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC.
2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction
That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14.
3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14βs ETH and token balances.
4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth).
5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool
β’ The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days.
β’ The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep.
β’ The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA
β’ That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH.
What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all.
So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow.
I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.
Yes I do... Looks like we were right????
near:native supercycle
remember when they tried to convince you $near was a winning asset this cycle?????
Is there a Non-serial deployer Kimchi that has made $ 10M+ in size out there?
The concept of a young, swagged trader is genius. We had normies talking about kimchi and trading again. (Only ones that would disagree are 50+ boomers)
The issue was with the chosen messiah
FaZe Banks explains why Kimchi partnering with Bottega Veneta is a huge win for the industry
FaZe Banks: βHeβs for sure gonna be able to leverage all this attention to go make $40,000,000. He's 22 years oldβ
Ansem: βBro he got a partnership with Bottega Veneta. Thatβs litβ
FaZe Banks: βIt is lit. I don't care if that's your cup of tea. I don't care if you want to wear Bottega but one thing is fact. We should all be able to come to the consensus, that is good for cryptoβ
βCrypto's biggest issue has been swagless, aura-less. Objectively this is good for us like legitimately could be good for Bitcoinβ
Biggest middle finger ever hahaha
Introducing the fastest crosschain swaps on the market. Crosschain transactions on @fomo now land in <1s.
A week ago, we rolled out our own internal bridge to a small % of users.
Public rollout of fomo bridge begins now.
If I was to start from scratch like it was 2019 again Iβd hunt for all protocols, trading terminals, perp platforms and prediction markets with trading competitions.
Not that many to compete against so itβs almost free money when you understand the rules.
There's so much opportunity to earn if you are a trader
Top PnL winner had a $2k pnl on the Anthropic Pre-IPO Perps campaign, and took home $1.5k in rewards
Weekly campaigns run on @joinfrontier so stay tuned for the next one, alpha for those looking to earn ontop of markets they trade already
You have no one to blame but yourself for failing.
Everyone is always rooting for you. Your parents want you to be a great son. Wife wants you to be a great husband. Your boss wants you to be a slam dunk hire. Every first date youβve ever been on theyβve been rooting for you to get laid. Every time you started to tell a joke people hoped it would have a hilarious punch line. Your proximity to anyone is a reflection of themself, meaning the deck is never stacked against you, and your failures are completely your own

What did Relay do to Alon ππ
They mentioned how they buried relay at least 10 times in this thread.
5) don't post commentary and pictures of hawker food as if you've found some hidden eating gem...you are an NPC conference attendee, not Anthony Bourdain
Important tips to survive token 2049:
1) never attend the conference itself - super boring and most of the speakers are v self-indulgent so you can hear the same thing for free in their endless podcast appearances
2) if a side event has a Luma invite then it's probably not worth going to
3) if a side event is at Marquee or Avenue, assume it will have 10x the max capacity turn up (mostly non-crypto people looking for a free drink) and plan to just stand outside for 3 hours
4) never go to Yishun...it's known for random cat murders but they would likely do the same to tourists
5) don't post commentary and pictures of hawker food as if you've found some hidden eating gem...you are an NPC conference attendee, not Anthony Bourdain
6) similarly don't post pictures of KOMA or other MBS shit and make reference to your fine dining experience, unless you want to dox yourself as having the same taste level as a first year student taking his mid-Sinkie gf out for her birthday dinner
7) never go to Mandala club - many people will tell you it's cool, but then you'll realise they are also members and much like memecoin bag holders are stuck in a perpetual hell of having to convince everyone (including themselves) that it's good
8) if you are out late at night and someone suggests 'let's go to Brix' - that someone is likely a sex offender...make your excuses and leave
9) never attend a party on a boat - it's like a normal party except there is no exit. You are stuck talking to people until it gets back to shore, which is often 3 hours too long
10) if you want to do some non-crypto things, don't do tourist stuff and instead go hike around MacRitchie or Bukit Timah...they're much nicer than the city centre
