@zonaeagle I spoke with Grace Wong, VP's producer at CourtTV, outside the courthouse in Dedham for over 30 minutes. She went on at length about how no one at CourtTV actually believes the conspiracy narrative and how many of them personally dislike Karen.
So I asked her directly, if that’s the case, why push the narrative so hard?
Her answer was simple: ratings. “It’s what the people want, so that’s what we give them.”
Take that for what it’s worth. For me, it was a remarkable insight straight from the source.

If Karen Read had nothing to do with John O'Keefe's death, she had no reason to believe that anything had happened to him. But rather than ask a simple, open ended question, such as, "Where is John?," she behaves as if she knows he's already dead or badly injured.
As I have noted before, no seasoned prosecutor would buy what the defense was selling. Seasoned prosecutors have heard every lame excuse and bat-shit crazy, "exculpatory" explanation you can imagine. I cannot think of one experienced prosecutor who find the defense theory even remotely plausible - never mind worth investigating.

Morrissey was begging for help because there was actual corruption! This needs to be investigated! Karen Read has destroyed an entire town with the help of the corrupt government!
Karen Read graduated high school with twin sisters Tricia and Anne Paruti. Tricia went on to work at Fidelity, like Karen. Anne now works as an assistant lawyer for the US Attorney's Office. The Feds.
We have not yet found evidence to demonstrate how well Karen knew Anne or whether they maintained a friendship. However, we have found plenty of evidence that she maintained a friendship with Tricia, who she called "twiss". Karen attended Trician's wedding. And I've posted here a birthday message posted on Karen's timeline from Tricia...or "twiss". So they were still fairly close friends in 2014, 16 years after they graduated together.
Is this why Karen and her team had unusual and improper connection to the Feds? Why information flowed from the US Attorney's Office to Karen's camp?
Meanwhile, Anne had co-prosecuted cased with Adam Deitch, who led the Karen Read related federal investigation. Anne's husband, Michael Lohnes, is currently the campaign manager for Deitch, who moved to Norfolk County so he could run for District Attorney there.
The Norfolk District Attorney has been sending letters to the DOJ in Washington that complain of improper behavior by the US Attorney's Office. So far as we know, that is the only government authority trying to get to the bottom of the unusual relationship between Karen and the Feds. If Deitch is elected, all of that investigating comes to an end. Very convenient.
I want to be clear. At this time there is no evidence of wrongdoing by Anne Paruti. Maybe she properly informed US Attorney Leigha Foley of her past relationship with Karen. Maybe she informed Foley that she helped Karen get a meeting with Josh Levy, the First Assistant US Attorney, in August 2022. Maybe Deitch explained to Foley why he had such unusual and improper communications with key Read expert witness, Dr. Wolfe of ARCCA, and why they were breaking state sequestration orders and feeding Wolfe what the state's experts were testifying.
But these are questions that need to be publicly addressed by the US Attorney's Office. Where there's smoke there's fire, and where there is a foul odor there's often something rotting.

When #KarenRead called Jen McCabe that morning, notice what she didn’t say.
She didn’t say:
“John didn’t come home, did he crash at Brian’s?”
That would be the normal question if you believed you dropped him off at a house full of people.
Instead, she immediately lies:
“We got into a fight. I left him at the Waterfall.”
Then she calls Kerry and blurts out:
“John’s dead.” Click. Calls back.
“He’s dead. He was hit by a snow plow.” Before anyone has found him. Before anyone knows anything.
Who jumps straight to death? Who jumps straight to vehicle strike?
Someone who already knows the ending and is trying to get ahead of it.
