URGENT: I AM ASKING FOR PROTECTION BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
President @realDonaldTrump, @FBI, @WhiteHouse and Secretary @SecRubio: My name is Ramadhani Mupenda, known as BadRama of BADRAMA TV. I am a Rwandan government critic and human rights activist living in the United States. I have publicly reported death threats and attempts on my life. I am pleading with you to take these warnings seriously.
Robert Kabera, another outspoken Rwandan critic, has been found beheaded in Uganda. On October 19, police said his head was still missing. A human being’s life has ended in unimaginable brutality. Kagame’s supporters are calling for my head to be next! Especially since I was the last person to do broadcasting with him.
When someone who speaks out is killed like this, those of us who have received threats cannot simply carry on as though nothing has happened.
Please do not assume that being in America guarantees my safety.
Human Rights Watch has documented killings, disappearances, abductions and intimidation targeting Rwandans abroad, implicating Kagame’s government and its proxies. These documented abuses demand a serious response from governments responsible for protecting people within their borders.
Remember Paul Rusesabagina: a U.S. resident and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient. After travelling from America to Dubai, he was forcibly taken to Rwanda in an operation financed by the Rwandan government. His international recognition and life in America did not put him beyond their reach.
Anne Rwigara’s sudden death in California also raised questions from her family. Investigative journalists later found that her phone number had previously been selected as a potential Pegasus surveillance target linked to Rwanda. Responsibility for her death has not been established. Her case nevertheless deepens the fear felt by people who have watched this family face persecution.
@FBI @FBIPhoenix @TheJusticeDept: Please establish secure contact with me, urgently assess the threats, investigate those responsible and help put appropriate protection measures in place. Please investigate any foreign-state involvement and anyone facilitating threats inside the United States.
@SecRubio @StateDept: Please raise these concerns directly with Rwandan authorities. Make clear that diplomatic relations will not shield anyone who directs or enables violence against critics abroad.
President Trump: I am asking your administration to help protect my life and my freedom to speak. No foreign government should be allowed to reach into America and frighten people into silence.
@batten_von: Please help get this appeal directly to people who can act. To journalists and elected officials: please ask what is being done to investigate these threats and prevent another killing.
I want to live. I want to keep speaking without fearing that it will cost me my life.
Please do not let this become another warning people rediscover after a death.
Hear me now. Investigate now. Help protect me now.

Deeply disturbing reports: Sergeant Major Robert Kabera has been murdered in Kamengo, Uganda. He spent the night at the property, his body was found the next morning, decapitated, the head missing.
Sergeant Robert was an outspoken critic of Kagame's regime, and every indication so far points to Kigali. This bears the hallmarks of yet another extrajudicial killing in a long pattern of transnational repression.

REKA TUBEHO 🙏🏾

"Where do you get this confidence when you were called 'Ibifobagane'?", in his verse on "REKA MBEHO," Bulldogg throws @PaulKagame's own word for Rwandans, the spineless, back in his face. Six of Rwanda's biggest artists @RidermanRiderzo , @junokizigenza, @Ishkevin_, Bulldogg, @AbijuruK (Papa Cyangwe) & The Unit released the song on Sept 14. Within days it was gone from their platforms.
Across history, artists have been the ones who name what a people are told to swallow in silence, the singers, poets and rappers who gave revolts against dictatorship their language long before politicians dared to speak. That force is not dead in Rwanda. We should not take for granted that, under one of Africa's most surveilled states, six artists still chose to stand up and say plainly: “Let us live”.
Understand what that choice costs them. Not just deleted songs but also their careers, income, sponsorships, and the safety of their families, who become leverage the moment the state decides an artist has "caused trouble." Kizito Mihigo paid the fullest version of that price: his song vanished in 2014, and he never survived the decade that followed.
So the question isn't why "REKA MBEHO" disappeared. It's whether we will value the courage while these voices are still here to protect instead of only mourning it, as we always do, once it's too late.
To @RidermanRiderzo, @junokizigenza, @Ishkevin_, Bulldogg, @AbijuruK and The Unit, THANK YOU. For your courage, and for saying out loud what many can't. #IndirimboIfiteubutumwa

🚨 AUTHENTIC OR FABRICATED? RDF MUST ANSWER
Someone sent me this document. Is it genuine or fake? The RDF must confirm or deny it.
If genuine, this is totalitarianism in its purest form: a regime so paranoid that even soldiers’ family, church, and wedding WhatsApp groups are treated as threats.
When a government fears private conversations, it fears its own people.

A shameless and desperate heist is what @PaulKagame's greedy family calls a 'smart business move.'
In their greedy mentality, instead of letting their businesses fail, they would rather let the country's economy collapse.
From the very beginning, this family built a brutal business monopoly through #CrystalVentures to crush all private competition. Now, their greed has put the entire nation's economy in extreme danger.
Following international financial blockades forcing their companies into liquidation, the regime is forcing ordinary Rwandans to pay for their losses through the #RwandaSocialSecurityBoard (RSSB) by buying all shares of #InyangeIndustry and #RulibaClays just to avoid the U.S. Treasury OFAC 50% rule.
This is the same #RSSB that constantly gambles with and loses workers' pensions:
👉Vision City Failure: Poured billions into luxury homes costing over RWF 100 million, while retirees survive on a miserable RWF 13,000 a month.
👉$40 Million L.E.A.F. Fraud: Squandered massive public pension funds in a fake, corrupt pharmaceutical deal.
👉Heza Estate Insult: Building apartments priced up to RWF 117 million using pension money, completely out of reach for workers earning an average monthly salary of RWF 80,000.

Kagame didn't correct his foreign minister @onduhungirehe because he cares about the man's conduct. In his regime, humiliating a senior official in public is rarely the end of a story, it's usually the first line of one. By the time an official is dropped, the public has already been taught to see him as arrogant, sloppy, and expendable, so the fall reads as deserved, even inevitable.
So watch what's being set up. And watch what this "language spat" is conveniently pulling your attention away from.
Because the other possibility is diversion. Manufacture a non-issue “French vs. Kinyarwanda” and let the public argue about that instead of the questions that actually matter.
Then scrutinise the press conference itself. Who was chosen to ask questions? Who was in the room, and who wasn't? Who paid for the people who showed up? We saw a comedian, @crazy_kennar, and Nollywood figures in attendance, are those journalists now? These events are curated. The "spontaneous" moment almost never is.
Either way, the minister's conduct is the pretext, not the point. Setup or distraction, both do the same job which is keeping Rwandans looking anywhere but at the real crises.

While ordinary Rwandans queue for water, @PaulKagame keeps spending to sanitize his image. It’s 2026, and this is happening inside @CityofKigali itself, the regime’s showcase capital.
Entire neighborhoods go weeks, sometimes months, without running water, because this @RwandaGov has decided beautification and photo-ops matter more than whether its own citizens live with basic dignity.
In the wealthy districts, where the elites, diplomats, and foreign “experts” live, the taps never run dry. In the poorer neighborhoods, they stay dry for weeks on end. That is a choice and not an infrastructure failure.
And while families ration from jerrycans, Kagame’s regime is chasing a @F1 Grand Prix costed at a reported $1.2 billion for cars going in circles, so the regime can look modern on international television. Money for the circus; none, apparently, to fix the pipes. The hypocrisy is obscene.
If this is Kigali, home to roughly two million people +, the part of Rwanda the regime most wants the world to see, then picture what the other eleven million endure in the countryside every single day.
And remember: this is only the water crisis. The same order of priorities runs through everything else - health, education, agriculture. Kagame’s regime spends on prestige. Rwandans pay the price.
