Added a few more bee hives this year. We got lucky and our hives from last year survived the winter. The bees will be busy pollinating sunflowers, flax and alfalfa this growing season. Hopefully making lots of honey as well! #pollinators #bees #soilhealth
Rye cover crop was seeded in late November. Was surprised to see it up and growing this spring after the open winter. Really nice seeding conditions for soybeans. #notill #covercrops #soilarmor
Mitch is doing some awesome stuff on his ranch. I think this is the best way to harvest corn and feed cows. Good lookin cattle too!
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities, his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. -Romans 1:20

Been a fun summer learning how to raise bees with my college buddy Jon Walker. We collected honey from the hives last week. Hard work never tasted sweeter. Honey tastes and looks great! Bees are busy now pollinating the cover crops and getting ready for winter. #bees #soilhealth

Casey Means was a Stanford-educated surgeon. Her brother Calley was a lobbyist for pharma and the food industry. Both quit their jobs in horror when they realized how many people were being killed by the systems they participated in. This is an amazing story.

Roller crimper did a pretty good job terminating the rye. The first herbicide pass was done a few days ago to control some ragweed poking through the residue. Beans look healthy and no yellowing from IDC. Out taking soil and tissue samples for Haney and SAP testing. #soilhealth
Roller crimping rye in ND. Goal is to protect the soil from erosion and save money by no pre emerge chemical pass. This was 60lbs of rye flown into corn last September. Soybeans were planted before crimping. Been wanting to do this for a long time. #soilarmor
