Thousands of paying Celtic fans can spend months/years asking for answers on fundamental issues around the club. Dermot has his golf interrupted and the board finds its voice that evening. They’ve made it perfectly clear who they answer to. It isn’t the people funding the club.

Celtic have announced a loss of £4.8m in the year ending on June 30 - down from a £33.9m profit in the previous year. This is primarily due to the club’s failure to qualify for last season’s #UCL. The figures, released today, show revenue down by 22.7% to £111m. By the end of June, the club still retained £66.4m of cash in the bank - down from £77.3m in 2025.
