The Portadown District calls for resignation of the Chief Constable and ACC Henderson following the shocking PSNI operation which failed to uphold the law. Importantly the message is clear: the determination granting the traditional parade remains to be policed. When are PSNI giving effect to the law?

There is no “process”. The PSNI must give effect to the determination. The end.

There is only one question for the PSNI: at what time is the Portadown District completing its lawful parade, which the PSNI have, since 8am on Sunday, intervened to delay starting?

The @ChiefConPSNI and his senior team should resign. In particular the two gold commanders during day and night have been utterly incompetent. It saddens me to say the Chief Constable has been made look like a wee boy by Sinn Fein & the mob. Now he is running to them cap in hand to seek a “resolution”. The resolution was and is applying the law. They have failed to do so. The Portadown District won their lawful right. The PSNI have failed them. There has not been even so much as an apology for the pathetic incompetence shown by the PSNI command team. I have engaged with them throughout the day, and they have done nothing but pussyfoot around, mislead our community and their main concern has always been pandering to Sinn Fein rather than upholding the law. That the Chief Constable is treating this as some kind of communal dispute between two equal sides needing resolution is appalling. The law has resolved it- and the PSNI has flatly undermined that legal outcome. Instead of dealing with the law breakers and upholding the rights of those who behaved within the law, the PSNI has capitulated. If you thought the Bobby Storey funeral damaged confidence in policing, this debacle has reached new heights.

It seems quite clear, that as we stand tonight, the senior leadership of the PSNI responsible for the shameful capitulation to Sinn Fein and the IRA should resign. It’s truly difficult to put into words the sheer contempt and anger felt towards the weak PSNI who surrendered to a lawless mob, and failed to protect the rights of the Portadown District. I’m not sure how confidence in the PSNI could ever be restored. Sinn Fein have treated the @ChiefConPSNI like a wee boy and laughed in his face, and yet the pandering continues. That may sound harsh, but true it is.

Now being reported PSNI @ChiefConPSNI to run cap in hand to the lawbreakers on Monday morning to seek a “resolution”. There is nothing to resolve: the law is the law, and the PSNI must apply it. The behaviour of the PSNI has been reprehensible and the only engagement they should be having with the lawless mob is to arrest them, not to parley with them.

There is no resolution. The outcome is for the PSNI to apply the law.

We have spoken directly to the PSNI and called them out for their utterly abominable conduct. There is no excuse. Not a single step have they taken against the lawbreakers. Not one.

Confidence in the PSNI has gone within the unionist community. And it is hard to see it coming back. They are utterly incompetent & politically compromised. They have pussy-footed around Sinn Fein all day, and failed to apply the law, leaving the people behaving lawfully to suffer as they reward the thugs & the mob. The command structure for the PSNI operation should be resigning.

Here is a clear message for the Secretary of State which I believe represents the views of the people standing in Portadown: either the Portadown District is going down, or the Executive is.

The rule of law has collapsed in Northern Ireland. PSNI has lost control, and it’s hard to see how unionism/loyalism could ever have any confidence in them. The law must be restored, and that will only happen when the SF thugs are faced down.

The PSNI have surrendered Northern Ireland (again) to the Sinn Fein mob. Today has been the most abysmal policing operational imagine. They have not taken a single step to deal with the lawbreakers. Senior officers should be considering their positions.

Two lawbreaking thugs. But, in the end, the law will prevail, of that there is no doubt. Unionism has been impeccable in behaviour; nationalism’s balaclava has slipped.
