Watch how switched on Duran is here. Gets his shot away despite two players trying to stop him, then spots Callum on the rebound. A lesser, more selfish striker just has another go. The awareness to see the pass and execute it so quickly is top drawer.

"The reputation of Celtic Football Club is non negotiable."
Six failed Champions League qualifying runs since 2017, with £66m sitting in the bank.
They've been negotiating it down for years. My Celts Are Here Extra Time column:

Alex Paulsen should get a guard of honour from his own teammates walking off the pitch. He’s saved them from an absolute hammering today. As comfortable a victory at Fir Park as I can remember.

An early goal 👌 Let's hope we can build on it.

The last time Jota was named in a Celtic squad was 26 April 2025, when the Hoops thrashed Dundee United 5-0 to clinch the league title. Brendan Rodgers was manager, with Kühn, Maeda, Hatate, Engels and Taylor all starting. Not much has changed 👀

Seven years ago, Martin O'Neill's Nottingham Forest reign ended amid serious questions about his coaching and tactics. Some of the parallels with Celtic today are uncomfortable. My latest column for Celts Are Here Extra Time. Read with our FREE 7-day trial.

READ HERE: celtsarehere.substack.com/p/… I'm putting my love for Martin to one side to analyse the manager like I would any other in his position right now. I really hope he can get this team going.

“I find the outrage over a disrupted round of golf very difficult to take seriously.” My take on Celtic’s response to the protest and why supporters’ anger runs much deeper than a few tennis balls. wp.me/p3Jms9-Bph

How do fans hold Dermot Desmond’s decisions to account? You don’t have to back the protest to ask how a man whose fingerprints are all over Celtic answers to supporters. He hasn’t attended the AGM in two decades. What would be “Celtic” enough to get his attention?
🔊 LISTEN: “I don’t agree at all with what happened at St Andrew’s, that is not Celtic!” 🍀 Martin O’Neill believes the divide between fans and the club is widening, and is also criticising supporters who threw tennis balls at owner Dermot Desmond last weekend. ⬇️

The talk today and tonight that @CelticFC plc could scrap the in-person AGM this year and run it on Zoom or Teams doesn't stand up. Company law requires an AGM notice to state a place. Whether a virtual-only meeting meets that test is unresolved, which is why the UK government opened a consultation on 7th September proposing to allow fully virtual AGMs. That consultation closes on 30th November. Even under the proposal, shareholders would have to consent first. The emergency Covid rules that let Celtic hold a closed AGM in December 2020 ended years ago. Changing a company's articles to allow virtual-only meetings needs a special resolution: 75% of the votes cast, at a general meeting of shareholders. The AGM is the one day a year that the people who own shares in this club can put questions to the board face to face. That right doesn't disappear because a meeting is inconvenient. Shareholders belong in the room. Turn up and vote or give your proxy to @celticCSL celticsupporters.net

Thousands of paying Celtic fans can spend months/years asking for answers on fundamental issues around the club. Dermot has his golf interrupted and the board finds its voice that evening. They’ve made it perfectly clear who they answer to. It isn’t the people funding the club.

I don’t really have a strong reaction either way to the protest. But that statement? An incredible level of outrage over an interrupted round of golf. No sense of proportion and nobody willing to put their name to it. Grow up.

A palpably absurd comment.
🚨 Rodri on Manchester City charges: “What we did, they cannot take it out of us. It's something that is not paid by money”. “It's paid with effort, with partnership, with being shoulder to shoulder every day…”. @BeanymanSports 🎥
