Returning to the lab after a great week at @BiochemSoc Small G Proteins in Cellular Signalling and Disease 2025.
Blown away by the high calibre of research on display, and grateful to have been able to showcase our work after years in development.

My lab and I were at the Small G-Protein conference in Manchester last week. Really lucky to work with such a great team. #BiochemEvent #SGP25
Great meeting and nice to meet old friends and new. Thanks @BiochemSoc for supporting this.
A huge thank you to all the amazing delegates who joined us for Small G Proteins in Cellular Signalling and Disease 2025 this week! We hope you enjoyed the conference and look forward to seeing you at the next one. #BiochemEvent #SGP25
Great to have Terri from @kraskickers as our opening speaker at the Biochem Soc Small G-protein conference! #BiochemEvent

Thoroughly enjoyable work and some surprise findings! The first journey into the chromosome periphery in mammalian oocytes with @TheMitosisBooth and @wthrll. Great team science with several labs across Institutions @kinetochore and @PriorLab biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

1) There has been super work in recent years, from multiple labs - but almost all have centred on a mitotic CP. But what about a CP in meiosis, eg in oocytes! Check out this work - from a great collaborative team! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Thrilled to share progress on Ras isoform binders! Using AI-driven protein design, I’ve targeted the challenging, highly charged and disordered C-terminus of Ras. These de novo binders exceed antibody specificity and effectively disrupt Ras signaling. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
