One of my most anticipated #ESMO26 presentations: Krascendo 1 (LBA5) — phase III divarasib vs sotorasib/adagrasib in previously treated KRAS G12C+ NSCLC. Roche reports positive PFS and interim OS results. But the effect sizes and full safety data are still pending.

🌤️ The pancreatic cancer story is changing. RAS inhibitors are opening one front. Precision IO may be opening another. @ASCO 2026 we presented promising early 1L mPDAC data with CLDN18.2/CD47 bispecific spevatamig (PT886): ORR 52%, DCR 90.5%, mOS 14.7 months. ✨For the 1st time in decades, it feels like the code of this lethal disease is finally breaking✨. @UPMCHillmanCC @OncoAlert @OncUpdates @OncBrothers – at Chicago, IL

5 Pancreatic Cancer Trials to Watch at ESMO 2026 The ESMO Congress 2026 will feature new pancreatic cancer data across resected, borderline resectable, locally advanced, and metastatic disease. Trials to watch: • RASolute 302 — Additional subgroup analyses of daraxonrasib vs chemotherapy in previously treated metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma • AMPLIFY-7P — Randomized phase II results with ELI-002 7P vs observation in resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma • MASTERPLAN — mFOLFIRINOX with or without SBRT in patients with high-risk, borderline resectable, or locally advanced pancreatic cancer • HRS-4642 — Preliminary phase II results with HRS-4642 + chemotherapy ± adebrelimab as perioperative therapy in KRAS G12D-mutant pancreatic cancer • INCB161734 — Safety and efficacy of INCB161734 in combination with chemotherapy in advanced or metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma Together, these five presentations will provide additional data across resected, locally advanced, and metastatic pancreatic cancer, including several RAS-directed treatment strategies. @AHollebecque @WainbergZev @EileenMOReilly 📎oncodaily.com/gastrointestin… #ESMO2026 #KRAS #OncoDaily

" In patients with RAS G12-mutated tumors and ECOG PS 0-1, daraxonrasib is recommended after failure of chemotherapy."
🚨 ESMO Updates Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer Guidance With Daraxonrasib On August 19, ESMO published an Express Update on metastatic pancreatic cancer, with new recommendations on molecular profiling and second-line treatment following recent efficacy data for daraxonrasib. Key points: 🔹 Molecular profiling is recommended at diagnosis for all patients with unresectable PDAC. 🔹 In patients with RAS G12-mutated tumors and ECOG PS 0-1, daraxonrasib is recommended after failure of chemotherapy. 🔹 In RASolute 302, median OS was 13.2 months with daraxonrasib vs 6.6 months with chemotherapy (HR 0.40). 🔹 In the RAS G12-mutated population, median PFS was 7.3 months with daraxonrasib vs 3.5 months with chemotherapy (HR 0.45). Daraxonrasib is currently under FDA and EMA regulatory review and is not yet approved. @MichelDucreux @myESMO @RevMedicines 👉oncodaily.com/oncolibrary/ga… #PDAC #OncoDaily

"The European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has adopted a positive opinion of RASONQUE (daraxonrasib) once-daily oral tablets as a monotherapy indicated for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have received at least one prior systemic therapy. If approved by the European Commission (EC), RASONQUE would provide the first broad RAS-targeted treatment option in the European Union for adults with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma." "Once granted by the EC, the centralized marketing authorization will be valid in all EU member states, as well as in the European Economic Area (EEA) countries Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein; marketing authorization by the EC is not applicable in the United Kingdom or Switzerland, which have separate processes for considering new drug applications."
The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has adopted a positive opinion recommending marketing authorization for our multi-selective RAS(ON) inhibitor for adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer in the EU. Read more: revmed.com/media/news/13621/… #ForMediaOnly

Early KRAS G12D data in pancreatic cancer: VS-7375 achieved a 50% confirmed ORR in second-line mPDAC (4/8 patients). At 900 mg daily, the investigational oral inhibitor also showed: • 41% confirmed ORR across 2L+ disease (9/22) • 67% six-month landmark PFS in that cohort These are small, non-randomized phase 1/2 cohorts. A first-line phase 3 trial is planned to open by year-end 2026. oncologynexus.com/vs-7375-sh… @VerastemOncolog @DrMhidalgo @hopkinskimmel @nyulangone

Every Kaplan–Meier curve represents someone’s life. As we head into #ESMO26, these 10 principles for humanising science reporting are an important reminder that how we communicate cancer research matters as much as what we report. Beyond hazard ratios, response rates and p-values, we need to ask: 🔹 What does this mean for patients? 🔹 What is the treatment burden? 🔹 Who can actually access this innovation? 🔹 What uncertainties remain? Good science reporting doesn’t just communicate results. It communicates why they matter. Excellent guidance from @myESMO. 👏
