Going to change my work on @Twitter. Increasing the positivity & good news & stopping the negativity. "Why?" I hear millions of you ask! Well it is because of the interesting talk I had with an elderly gent in the pub yesterday evening. 1/? – at Newcastle Upon Tyne, England
There is a blue spiral at the bottom of the picture on a yellowy and white background. The spiral and caption look like they are written with a paintbrush. The caption reads: Know that your kindness has a ripple effect in the universe.

Big update coming to Obsidian called properties (let's say it is UI for metadata). This has been highly anticipated. #TfT obsidian.md/changelog/2023-0…

This week's @obsdmd Roundup is live! obsidianroundup.org/2023-02-… Featuring nifty new themes, including one of the few I've seen with a lot of distinction between different visual elements. There were also several new options for syncing highlights to Obsidian from various tools.

No surprise to see @obsdmd leading the pack, but nice to see Amplenote holding its own alongside the best 3rd Gen Note Apps like Craft & Reflect. Hope that the upcoming "Best of 2023" lists might finally start to go easy on the outdated OneNote reccos.

in @obsdmd you don't have to worry about how you will be able to safely export your notes later to keep. Your notes are already exported. All the time. As you make them.

The @PCMag article mentions that Obsidian does not have handwriting recognition and scanning of images... with the help of @TaskboneHQ we thought we can do something about this... introducing @obsdmd-@excalidraw 1.8.0 OCR support. 🎉 👉👉👉youtu.be/7gu4ETx7zro

Replying to @ow
Be very liberal with using [[links]] for people, places, concepts, etc. Even if you don’t create that linked note immediately, it helps build your web of knowledge. I also like using memorable sentences to organize my thoughts: stephanango.com/evergreen-no…

I know I rag on @evernote but them being acquired by Bending Spoons is a bummer. It's a reminder that if you don't own your own data by keeping your notes local—some company called "Bending Spoons" might someday own it. Ooooff!

Sad news. @AthensResearch announced they are “winding down” their open-source Athens project. We wish @tangjeff0 and the rest of their great team success in future endeavors. Thank you for the innovative ideas your explored and shared with the community. #TfT
