I was watching a bunch of trailers for upcoming movies last night. It feels like Hollywood doesn't get it lately.
You cannot keep making movies/series targeted at niche audiences, spending 100s of millions, and expect huge profits. I'll just go play an indie video game instead.
I am trying to get back into photography and need a better, faster dock for my workflow. Unlike other docks, this one supports 10GbE, so I'd have that all the way back to my NAS! It has lots of other cool features, like a screen for workflow monitoring!

It still amazes me just how much more you can hear when you listen to music you know from decades ago, but with a new, high-end pair of headphones.
Hey @mreflow, whatever happened to the NVIDIA DGX Spark giveaway you were doing?
I wonder if @Superman's Fortress of Solitude has been melting due to climate change. Does he get polar bears visiting him?
I love how USB-C was supposed to be a universal standard, but there are different types of USB-C. There are USB-C cables that are "Thunderbolt Certified". And then, inside that, there are passive and active Thunderbolt cables. #ugh
Thank you to @CalDigitSupport for the assist!
An interesting thread about a personality type on teams that are solid performers, but don't want the limelight. The stars who do, need these people. This personality type is usually the first to be cut with brutal HR policies.

People on all sides of the spectrum are pissed that the majority of the divisive content on this app is from foreign agents.
If a few guys from a 3rd world country with an app can manufacture a culture war...
Imagine what people with real resources and influence are doing...
In the past few years, why does going out to eat in the USA seem to be about which place can cook/reheat Cysco mass-produced "food" the best?
Hey @youtubemusic, can you please implement a better recommendation engine? You have info on all the music I liked, and access to Google's AI capabilities.
What I really want is a mode specifically for finding new music and rating it up or down to tune further recommendations.
At what point will data centers and AI be deemed "critical infrastructure" like a dam, power plant, power lines, water treatment plants, etc., and the US government step in? Will the US military step in to help plan security for and possibly secure these facilities and companies?

blackbox ai vs YouTube ??
why do you need to watch YouTube tutorial anymore ???
YouTube is still the GOAT! but for how to tutorials, you now have a dedicated agent ready to help for every task ...
how to set up @MongoDB with blackbox ai!
Hey @Hertz, why can I not book a car for my wife to drive like I can book a plane ticket for her to fly without me? If she will be the "primary driver," even though I will be there to drive it too, 2 days later, and the car has to be booked under her name, what's the point in being loyal and using Hertz for this rental?
If AI-powered agents will create applications in the future, what makes a good experience for the agent that makes it want to use your service? We have heard about developer experience and advocacy in the past many years and even now, but if some people are foreshadowing a possible future AI to generate application functionality like it does an image or text, what do services such as databases, queues, etc. look like that give these agents a great experience?
Love it when services give the CLI some love. In this case, it works much nicer, especially for managing schema and schema enforcement in Fauna. I highly recommend upgrading to this release!
Fauna’s CLI v4 is officially GA!
Here’s what’s new:
• Simplified auth & config
• Improved text highlighting & output formatting
• Streamlined workflows for databases, schemas, local containers + auto-complete

Software-career thought leaders will warn you against taking an “off-ramp” from engineering.
What they don't tell you is that eventually, the off-ramp comes for all of us. Take the off-ramp before it takes you.
A letter to my stupid 22-year-old self:

Yay for serverless event feeds from your Fauna database going GA!
Snapshot Export to Amazon S3 is really what I had my eye on though. With data in S3, I can do deep analytics, AI/ML, etc. on the same data I already have in Fauna. I really want to play with this more.
We’re thrilled to announce Event Feeds are now GA! Keep your apps in sync and audit-ready.
Also excited to share the beta of Snapshot Export - giving you transactionally consistent snapshots to seed 3rd-party sources.

Hey @playnewworld are region transfers no longer a thing? I am moving across the USA in a few months and am hoping to move my character, but only see intra-region moves possible.
