I showed this tweet to a girl in my class this evening having the exact same issue.
One thing I have found absolutely fascinating as a boxing coach:
Women–regardless of their athletic background–seem to have a better intuitive grasp of hip stability when they punch.
Said another way, they're better at using and controlling their lower body when punching.
Pearl's technique is not bad at all for a beginner, and it's what I continually observe from girls.
With that said, girls have a *very* hard time relaxing their upper body to get full power transmission from ground through to contract.
Pearl is actually not awful here (as far as newbies go).
Keep up the good work @pearlythingz

If you kick a person when they're down, you better stomp them out completely.

Now, I love me a good blow job. But I can't lie.
I've always wondered how much I could get done, if I did Cocaine.
"Pledges were allegedly made to play a horrifying game called “blow or blow.” In the game, senior sisters of the Delta Chapter at Indiana University Bloomington told pledges they had to choose between giving a man a blow job or snort cocaine."

All casuals need to watch Mayweather vs Castillo 1 to understand that robberies are real and Mayweather got a gift.
I can at least see how Leonard won that fight. I don't agree, but I can see it.
Not with that Castillo fight though.
They mugged the shit out of GGG in that first Alvarez battle though
2nd poll of the day🥊. Which controversial fight should I rewatch? “Hagler vs Leonard” or “Mayweather vs Castillo 1”? I just finished Canelo vs GGG 1,and gave my thoughts since you all voted for that over Kovalev vs Ward 1. Make sure to vote. I’ll keep the poll up for 2 hours.

53%Floyd vs Castillo 1🥊

They used to make me play this without the cocaine

The very short answer is that she's at the optimal distance from the bag.
The much longer, mostly n/a, answer is that fighting is a game of dynamic optimal positions.
She's not stepping and likely won't ever be in a position to punch while moving, so the distance there is fine. If she were trying to fight, distance from the bag *kind of* wouldn't matter anyway—ideally at least.
In practice, range finding is one of those skills that separates people. Fighters tend to pick it up by lots of amateur fights and sparring.
If they don't, it's hard to win fights if you can't hit a moving target that's gonna make you pay when you miss.
Perception is a real son-of-a-bitch to train, and for a long time, we actually didn't think there was a way to do it.
Then some scientists from Canada figured out The Quiet Eye, and one of my side projects is applying it to boxing. I even bought the original textbook, "Perception, Cognition, and Decision Training."
Boxing training side note: the double-end bag is probably the most underrated and misunderstood piece of equipment in the gym.
But, in general, the idea is that if you can touch something with your jab, you can touch it with your cross without compromising your hip stability.
She's good at the distance for a recreational boxer.

My sister was an MP in the Air Force.
I always call her a crackhead hunter because of these crazy stories she'd tell me about arresting people on base who were high on Spice and K2.
That shit sounds almost as bad as PCP.

Stop using your childhood as an explanation for your behavior. Get help, fix what’s broken, and move forward.
You’re not an adult until you stop blaming your childhood for your current deficiencies, weaknesses, and problems.
Yes, shit happened to you. And yes, some of it set you back. But adults don’t use that as an excuse. They work through it without hurting other people who did nothing to them.
No one minds if you have a problem.
No one minds if you need help.
No one is perfect, and we all have a journey.
The problem is when you neglect your issues and constantly use them as justification for fucking up. Your friends and family will only be patient for so long.
This is after a 2025 which saw not a single hurricane strike the continental United States.
Which actually isn't that rare. Since record keeping began in 1851, we've had no hurricanes hit land 49 years.
But to not have 1 form this late in season...
That's noteworthy.
I'm begging everyone to watch Idiocracy.
The scene when they meet the president was *supposed* to be so satirical that it couldn't possibly come even close to happening.
