🌍 From 19–23 October 2026, #Rwanda will host the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 #ICII2026 in Kigali.
Hosted by @RwandaFinance, @CentralBankRw, @AFRwanda, @ASSAR_Rwanda, and @Ribo_Rwanda in collaboration with @IntMicroinsConf and @NetworkFlash, the conference will bring together over 1,000 insurance and reinsurance executives, regulators and policymakers, InsurTech innovators, financial institutions and investors, international organisations and development partners, as well as researchers and academics from around the world.
Together, they will explore innovative solutions, share global best practices, and shape the future of inclusive insurance in emerging markets.

Karimi Nthiga serves as the Regional Coordinator for Africa at the Microinsurance Network. She drives member engagement across the continent, builds strategic partnerships with institutions, and supports the delivery of the annual Landscape of Microinsurance study—strengthening evidence on inclusive insurance access in Africa.
Karimi brings a strong foundation in Economics and behavioural science to her work on financial inclusion. She has led research on consumer behaviour and collaborated with partners to co-design and test interventions that improve how people access, use, and stay engaged with financial and insurance services.
She also co-chairs the global Building the resilience of smallholder farmers (SHF) Best Practice Group and coordinates the Gender and inclusive insurance Best Practice Group.
