Last few of days to comment on the #BTStreetHub Op. 173 Kingston Road (Near Merton Park Tram Crossing)
It is actually being placed in a Tree pit? & @Merton_Council has already recommended Grant Permission BEFORE comments closed!
See the mock-up in place & photo of how it is used.
ALT In the picture, you can see the border of the tree pit (now filled with tarmac) after poor Council Street Tree management.
ALT Wider than a phone box, in use it blocks even more of the pavement as the user has to stand on the side (designed so user doesn't block ads, but no consideration for blocking pedestrians).

Us trees try not to be political but please get rid of these jokers in charge. The local elections are coming up. Please vote for parties that will care and protect us
Remember the illegal action @TrustfordUK took cutting down trees on Plough Lane a year ago? They are wanting to "plant" an illuminated 8ft sign, an illuminated 15陆ft blue arch & other signage in the conservation area.
See application 22/P0782
Yes when ??
That's great but when will @Merton_Council instruct their contractors to stop spraying harmful weedkillers in our local parks?

Every time you inspire and teach these young people importance of environment conservation and being good stewards of the planet ,you are securing their future and making the planet a more habitable place. Let's keep planting trees.

This is a photo of @wpgcgolf taken today 3/3/22. About 10 mature trees have been FELLED and the ground has been levelled. This is MOL & Nth Wimbledon Conservation Area. Where is the application by AELTC & permission for this @Merton_Council #SaveWimbledonPark #ClimateEmergency
Us trees try to remain non political but this current lot are dreadful - change is desperately needed
Yes we need Green people elected. The local Labour Party are appalling when it comes to environmental issue

Does @FenniesUK Nursery think their "environmental awareness from an early age" & involvement with @EcoSchools allow for damage to a tree with a long-standing TPO Tree Protection Order at their new #RaynesPark site? @campbellandcoa1

@Merton_Council @MartinWhelton Any chance Merton could get involved and make this the norm rather than the exception? @WimSoc @MitchamCrktGrn @ravensburygrove @wimbledonfriend @MertonMatters @MertonTrees @HaydonsNorth @Clarion_Group
Over the last few months I鈥檝e been working to create a project that puts boxes of wildlife goodies free into new build homes, to encourage people to make their new gardens attractive to wildlife. it鈥檚 called Nature Box and the first ones head out very soon. #rewilding
